Hi All,

Stevey ....I loved It ..LOL....not so much of the old !!

Now you dam well know I am very partial to Police Officers !! so I can see myself in that car.... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Now I have only just over a week left here, and think its about time I came home >LOL

But do I want the UK weather ? ......NO not really.

Linda ...I keep thinking that my |dad turn will be around the corner for carers as he is very likely to fall and has done in the house . but we usually get there in time to pick him up before its left too long , his wife is 98yrs and no way can she lift him .

I had a Skype from my grand daughter yesterday ,it was her birthday and we & Mummy & Daddy gave her 2 Rabbits & cage ....she was like a Zombie could'nt get her excitement in control, was yelling at me to look at her precious Rabbits, I dont suppose she slept last night .

Just about to shower ...... :-D

Morning all
Thanks Cath I too hope he will pick up but he has been in hospital now for about 4 months and no chance of him going back home, he would be at risk of falls, which put him there in the first place.
He lives with his son and grand daughter but they both work and he couldn't be at home all day alone. He cannot stand unaided at all and needed 2 carers to lift him from his chair yesterday. Very sad.
But he is clean, fed and has another man in the same room. So it could be much worse for him. His family visit most days and we will go again as soon as possible.

Just back from the gym, it doesn't get any easier. Off for blood tests this afternoon and already booked into the diabetic nurse for the results next Tuesday. Hubby has the dentist at the ned of the month too. Then I have the dietician. So it's all medical again.
here this morning but the sun might shine like yesterday, if we are lucky.

Morning everyone :-D
Linda I hope your uncle will soon feel better. Could it have been the strong antibiotics that made him disorientated? Its such a worry when elderly relatives are unwell.
Stephen thanks for the chuckle, its good to start the day with a laugh.
Pauline hope you're on the mend.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Two police officers saw Marilyn staggering down the street...
... stopping her they can tell she has had far too much to drink and instead of taking her to jail they decide to just drive her home.

They loaded her into the police cruiser one of the officers gets in the back with drunk Marilyn.

As they drove through the streets they kept asking Marilyn where she lived, all Marilyn would say as she stroked the officers arm is, "You're Passionate."

They drove awhile longer and asked again, but again the same response as she stroked his arm, "You're Passionate."

The officers were getting a little upset so they stopped the car and said to Marilyn "Look we have driven around this city for two hours and you still haven't told us where you live!"

She replied, "I keep trying to tell you, you're passin it!"

Hi Marilyn
Yes hose-pipe ban in the S E of England. That includes me.

But forecast for this weekend by Sunday is rain...... now there's a surprise eh.

Went to see the aged Uncle this afternoon. Bless him he's not well. He has an infection and is on really strong antibiotics. But he was very disorientated and didn't really know who we were to start with. But he seemed more lucid when we left, and he'd eaten some french bread with cheese spread and sausage we'd taken as a treat for him. Memories of trips to France with us and hubby's Dad too. I hope he picks up but have my worries for him.

Sleep well my friends

Morning to you all nice to see you were all up and not still tucked under the blankets.

Morning Jenny I had toast and a yoghrt for my breakfast this morning. .hope you are now back to normal after the party on Saturday.?

Linda did you see Daybreak this morning someone has been decorating the pier think it is Yorkshire ? with knitted dolls and animals it is really great they dont know who has done it but they are getting alot of visitors? it must take them ages to do all that.

Morning George I suppose your off out somewhere this morning.with Sarah. ?

Hazel wish you good hunting at the TNA today I love going there, it is over a year since I last went.

Cath . I use to listen to the ships fog horn they came from the continet up to Gt Yarmouth many times one year. . we had a beautiful sandy beach in Caister . sand for miles out to the sea. but like everywhere along that coast now. the sea started to take over.. so they brought granit stones from across the sea and these were transported on ships all taken to Yarmouth they were then driven to the beaches . where they started building up the beaches walls to stop flooding?

I never understood why they took them by ship to Yarmouth and then brought them to the beach by big transporter lorries most lorries could only carry three of these big rocks.spolit the beaches. two years ago when I was up there on holiday the rocks were no longer there ? . the sand had over taken the rocks and now the beaches are sandy once again

Morning Stephen once again we have a morning chuckle from you keep them coming please.
