Morning all you early birds Great laugh Stephen. Had a lovely evening yesterday. Son came early to take his spaniel for a walk. Most of the food was prepared, so hubby went too. Got the laptop up to date now hopefully think everything is on there that needs to be done now. I had 2 bouquets of flowers, a spring tub arrangement. Some money, some chocsand a bracelet, as well as the 3 cards of course. All lovely. It is a bright spring morning out there. The car had frost earlier but looks like it will be a lovely day. Rita glad you have seen Crowthorne, not too shabby here. You would have been very close to me when you went to the Craft Centre. That is nice there too, but I try not to go tooo often as I could spend a fortune. THe crafting goodies are nice AND i USED TO BE VERY TEMPTED WHEN i WAS CHILDMINDING(sorry caps locked on) Have hung new curtains in our bedroom this morning, courtesy of a neighbour, good recycling eh? Have a wash on hoping to get it hung out this morning.

Morning everyone, lovely day here, very sunny and quite mild. Hope you all had a restful night.
Stephen, I just choked on my coffee when I read your morning chuckle, haha. Sounds like you had a great day yesterday.
Hope all the Mums and Nannas had a lovely day yesterday.
Tea, coffee and hot bacon rolls for anyone feeling a little hungry.
Do wish GR would sort this site out, but maybe that is asking too much, we are only the paying members.
Well I will wish you all a happy and peaceful day. take care and stay safe.

Morning All
It is a lovely morning sun is shinning and the sky is blue not one cloud can I see.? All we need is the warmer weather.
I have the laundry to do this morning.. I have some small jobs I need to do like find my water painting stuff which I stored somewhere and cannot think where. ? I promised my granddaughter to sort some struff out for her. I have not done any painting since I moved to Surrey 8 years ago,.
I need to get a form to renew my passport. and get my photo taken for that. and to find out if I need a passport to Southern Ireland.?
other than than not much else to do today. other than normal everyday things like make the bed. cook the dinner .
I think I may have caught a cold as I am sneezing this morning so if your guilty of giving me this. put your hands up.;
see you later.

A Wee Chuckle for the day,
Bea was in her eighties, and much admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. The pastor came to call on her one afternoon early in the spring, and she welcomed him into her Victorian parlor.
She invited him to have a seat while she prepared a little tea.
As he sat facing her old pump organ, the young minister noticed a cut glass bowl sitting on top of it, filled with water. In the water floated, of all things, a condom. Imagine his shock and surprise.. Imagine his curiosity!
Surely Miss Bea had flipped or something!
But he certainly couldn't mention the strange sight in her parlor. When she returned with tea and cookies, they began to chat.
The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him, and he could resist no longer.
"Miss Bea," he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" (pointing to the bowl).
"Oh, yes," she replied, "isn't it wonderful? I was walking downtown last fall and I found this little package.
The directions said to put it on the organ, keep it wet, and it would prevent disease.
And you know...I haven't had a cold all winter."

Hi All,
Blimey Stevey ....I was almost in tears reading your last post !...pity I cant say that about my dear mother although a very strict Catholic she never ventured outside of her faith only within it ......I used to tell her there are other folk to make friends with and enjoy life with other than the church folk, that I battled with her all my life ,she made lots of enemies with her grand children as she refused to go to their Non Catholic weddings !! How sad is that ? Sadly she died a bitter lady as the grandchildren never communicated with her after that. Oh I could go on ...LOL but I wont .....
Now George if you and Sarah ever came to Devon ...I do a lovely cream tea..when I'm home .LOL
We saw the St Patrick's parade ......Funny to see all the Americans wanting to be Irish for a day .......the corn beef & cabbage went amiss with me ...didn't fancy it on such a hot day .
Now off to Church.......candle lit for Stevey's friend ..

I knew it would rain. and it has . it is raining now. not too heavy at the moment ? but we are told it will get worse. we are in the water pipe ban area makes me angry as the water companies lose so much water when leaks accur they dont get to work on them.. have you noticed ? they have many men working on the leaks but one works the others stand and chat If they did the leaks quickly we would not need to have a water ban so ealry in the year.
Stephen I saw the news on TV this morning and saw all those lovely Daffs dying off because they had no pickers for them in Scotland . as they have come up early. yet if you go into a super market . your find bunches of daffs which have come from a broad. yet those in your area are left to die because the pickers are busy else where? you would think with all thes people unemployed they would take them to where there is a shortage of pickers and let the farmers pay them.?
George it is lovely to smell the grass when it has rained, unless you suffer from Sneezing.. it looks so green and the plants come to life all standing up errect. Our commual lawn is covered in daffs among the grass. and it looks really nice. mind you we have alot of grey squirrels here and the little devils run up and down the trees take food from the bird table and run in and out of the daffs playing..
I will have the best display of bluebells since I have lived here .if the all open their buds the soil out the back is covered in bluebell leaves and buds.

Morning to all my firends on here. The day looks grey but then it is early so perhaps mit will be better later on. ? I hope we dont get rain as being as it is St Patricks day there are bound to be a lot of parades and celebrations.
I didnt sleep well too much on my mind we still have big operation to go.in the family. I would love to get on here and say everyone is fine.
The old people in the flat above. told me they are frightened they will be taken into care because of their age. she is about 96 and he is 90 .when ever they go to hospital or other Governemtn places they are asked about their helpers, they say we have none He said they manage very well for themselves and they do he does some of the gardening on this estate and he has a member of the family who take them shopping ; How sad is that ,. when old people worry about being told they should go into a home.
Nothing planned today. tomorrow I am off to have a meal with my son and his family.
Have a good day and any Irish people Have a happy St Patricks day.

A Wee Chuckle for the day !
A tough looking group of bikers were out riding when they saw a woman about to jump off a bridge... so they stopped and parked their Harleys.
Their leader, a big burly man, gets off his bike and says, "What are you doing?"
"I'm going to commit suicide," she says.
While he didn't want to appear insensitive, he didn't want to miss an opportunity either, so he asked her... "Well, before you jump, why don't you give me a kiss?"
So she does....
And it was a long, deep, lingering, spine-tingling kiss.
After she's finished, the biker leader says,
"Wow! That was the best kiss I've ever had! That's a real talent you are wasting. You could be famous. Why in the world would you want to commit suicide?"
"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl..." Was the reply.
The authorities think she may have been pushed… ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
