Evening All !

Grass cutting today . The first of the year . I love the smell of the new cut grass. I have a very large area of grass and it takes a wee while to cut the whole place. I prefer doing it all in one go otherwise I'd be cutting grass all the time.

Linda......DON'T EXERCISE IF YOU DON'T FEEL 100% WELL. I knew two guys who died due to doing exercise when unwell. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

I had a smile a little while ago (it made my day , as today is not been good to me so far. )
Talking to a couple of people nearby this morning , one said" it is strange all us english people speak about the weather ?" it is the first thing that comes to you lips after good moring"

I said I find elderly people I meet usually talk about the rubbish on TV these days so many repeats. it was so in the Doctors this morning four said this.

Whilst on this site two subject seems to be ? " very hard job getting on to the site this morning or had a job logging on."

Went to the gym this morning, but my joints are aching, think I might be fighting something/some virus.

I have just logged on to GR I have had a busy morning had to go and have my blood test done this morning, I await results of the reading tomorrow morning whyen the letter cokes from the hospital.

Foggy you are a very nice man to offer me a lift to the meet I think it is on 31st March. I am not sure yet I am going to be able to go ? I should know in a few days time. can I leave it open and let you know ?

The window man has just phoned he is coming on Friday to redo my windows the filling they use has come away and the draft comes in. this will be the third time thay have come back to do this..

My daughter was coming over on Saturday with my son in Law. but they are having their grandchildren as Megan will still be in hospital. poor little soul.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

The preacher, in his Sunday sermon, used "Forgive Your Enemies" as his subject.
After a long sermon, he asked how many were willing to forgive their enemies.

About half held up their hands.

Not satisfied he harangued for another twenty minutes and repeated his question.

This time he received a response of about 80 percent.

Still unsatisfied, he lectured for another 15 minutes and repeated his question.

With all thoughts now on Sunday dinner, all responded except one elderly lady in the rear.

"Mrs. Jones, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"

"I don't have any."

"Mrs. Jones, that is very unusual. How old are you?"

"Ninety three."

"Mrs. Jones, please come down in front and tell the congregation how a person can live to be ninety-three, and not have an enemy in the world."

The little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, very slowly turned around and said

"It's easy, I just outlived all those losers!"

Rita, got a phone call from George saying you would like to go to the London meet, but it is difficult for you by train.
If you would like you could go with me, I could pick you up and drop you home after the meet, thats if you want.

Evening all,
managed to get on this time, gave up this afternoon.
Rita as far as I know you don't need a passport for Ireland North or South.
We go to Wexford (way down South) twice a year and have never been asked for a passport even though mine is always in my bag. There was talk a couple of years ago about introducing them but nothing came of it.

Pauline I do hope the chiropractor can sort out your back so you can avoid an operation, take care.

My daughter took me out for lunch then we went shopping for presents.
