A Wee Chuckle for the day
One Sunday, a Priest told his congregation that the church needed some extra money. He asked the people to consider donating a little more than usual into the offering plate
He said that whoever gave the most would be able to pick out three hymns.
After the offering plates were passed, the Priest glanced down and noticed that someone had placed a £1,000 Cheque in the offering.
He was so excited that he immediately shared his joy with his congregation and said he'd like to personally thank the person who placed the Cheque in the plate.
A very quiet, , saintly looking lady, named Marilyn, all the way in the back shyly raised her hand.
The Priest asked her to come to the front.
Slowly she made her way to the Priest. He told her how wonderful it was that she gave so much and in thanks asked her to pick out three hymns.
Her eyes brightened as she looked over the congregation, pointed to the three most handsome men in the building and said............................,
"I'll take him and him and him."

Hello all, just popped my head round the door. I was hoping that Rita might be coming to the London Meet, but now I see it's not to be. Sorry that you're not feeling up to it Rita - I and, I'm sure, others would have liked to have met you. Hope you feel better soon.
George - you just stay away! We're all very well-behaved, refined people and you'd be way out of your depth LOLOL :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) ;-)

Evening all Another lovely day. I do hope you feel better soon Rita. Also that Mrs Stephen is OK too. The gym was hard work. Then we went to our daughters the baby is growing well and begining to smile. Home again in time for WW better result this week, lost two and a half pounds this time. Slowly but surely. Seeing Dr's dietician tomorrow so hope she will be pleased too.
Shelly sorry about the mix up and that the baby is your son's, do they have a name for the little one yet?
Mo is having real issues getting on to GR, seen on Facebook. It still takes me longer but manage somehow.

Hello everyone
I have not been on as I have not felt well for a few days but this morning I had to go and do the washing and then afterwards felt so bad. I went back to bed. I have had terrible nights not gone off to sleep till 3 or 4 in the morning and very short of breath. I have my scan nect monday.at Ashford hospital.
I hope your see your little Grandson Shelly soon has he got a name yet ?
Stephen hope things will be sorted when your wife gets her blood test results. you didnt say if she had a cold or what ?
Hi George we have sunshine here as well it is quiet warm I have opened all my windows had them shut while I was in bed except for the bedroom one.
My sister has said she will be over tomorrow for the day, and not to bother getting anything in for dinner, she will sort that out. but I have alot of salad stuff so we will have that.? Her son went back to America this morning he had to be at the air port at 5.25. ten days went so fast, I didnt get a chance to see him this time.
Hi Marilyn Foggy and I have been intouch. I have declinded his kind offer to take me and bring me back as I have not been that well and didnt want to take the chance at the London Meet. He is a real Gent not many would offer to collect and take and bring someone back they have never met? I felt tearful when he offered. I do hope they all enjoy themselves.
Have a good day everyone. lighter nights so that is nice.

Morning all. Like everyone else I have been having problems for a few weeks now, but when I contacted GR their reply was 'it is possibly a temporary glitch. I couldn't get on here at all yesterday, kept getting the 'Error message'. Wonder how long a temporary glitch lasts? Hope you are all enjoying the good weather if you have it, Stephen I do hope your wife is soon feeling much better, hope you are taking good care of her. Glad to see you have changed your mind about leaving. Rita, hope you are ok. Have a good day everyone, take care and stay safe. Jean xx :-) :-) :-)

Lovely here again too Cath. Been doing a bit more gardening. had to do some ironing unfortunately, big heap and getting short of clothing !! Lots of birds in our garden, singing happily. Potted on the tomato plants we bought last week they have doubled in size, but have to bring them indoors at night, too cold for them even in the greeenhouse, unheated
Bring on the lighter later evenings, one good thing about living in Britain. You don't get that in Australia or the Carribean LOL

A Wee Chuckle for the day
ISN'T IT ROMANTIC? =========================
I still miss my ex-wife, but my aim is getting better.
Wife and dog missing. Reward for dog.
Marriage is the main cause of divorce.
Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder.
I got a yacht for my wife. Best trade I ever made.
Love may be blind, but marriage is a real eye opener.
My wife ran off with my best friend. Boy, I'll miss him.
Hell hath no fury like the lawyer of a woman scorned.
There are two theories to arguing with a woman. Neither one works.
The average woman would rather have beauty than brains because the average man can see better than he can think.
My wife says I never listen to her....or something like that.

Morning All !
Took Marilyns advice and went out yesterday and climbed ALL the mountains in Scotland.
Today I'm a physical wreck. My legs are so stiff I can't bend them. My 'six pack' is as hard as rocks, calf muscles are bulging like melons , thighs have grown 4 inches. etc etc.
Everything on my body is very stiff (well nearly everything) ROFL ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
On reflection about my leaving the Friendly Thread .......why the hell should I......... If I want to win the battle with GR I have got to stay and fight.....that's how I was trained so that's what I'll do. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Time to fix bayonets for some close combat. :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P
Mo I hope your lad gets it fixed out Ok. You must be worried sick.
Guess what numpty forgot to change the clocks last night :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S
Have a good day ya all !

Morning everyone Lovely day sun is out already here I am at 7 on the computer sorry 8 on the computer and manged to get through right away no problem. but we will see if I am lucky when I submit this.?
My Great Granddaughter Megan is depressed bless her she is in pain after her operation. she phoned her Nanny and told her she had phoned as she was depressed. they sorted out the lesions but found she had a kink in her bowel so they did that., this maybe why she has been in so much pain.? this left from her original operation a couple of years ago.. anyway she passed all her 5 exams and came top of her class. she goes to the academy in September I am proud of her she has spent so much time in hospitals through illness. I hope this will put everything right now and she can go along without pain. she will be 11 this year.
I hope everyone is feeling well. the summer is a head of us now so perhaps we will all feel better?. nice to have lighter nights and be able to sit out in the garden. I have not felt too well over the past few days.but I dont feel as b ad today.
have a great day

Waaaay Haaaaaaaay, I'm in :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Been trying to say hello to my friends for ages and nothing but error message :-P :-P :-P :-P Like Stephen I am completely fed up with the constant hassle on GR, I can't add any photos to my tree, can't always update info and that is on the old tree as the new one is so confusing I won't use it. I have only just renewed my membership (last month) but wouldn't have bothered if I'd known the problems would get worse instead of better. GR should stop trying to "improve" the site until the basics are right. Moan over.
Mo I hope your son will get the treatment he needs quickly, it must be an awful worry for you. I wish him all the best. Marilyn great to have you back :-D Its been a gorgeous day here, but I was busy doing the dreaded housework and haven't been out yet.
Dont forget to put your clocks forward before going to bed, lots of <3 <3 <3 to you all, back when I can, Cath xx
