Morning Treehunter and Linda.

My eye is getting better it is not sore now but is still puffy and red. I have been busy since I got up. cleaned the bathroom up and then the bedroom had a good vacume and polish, the frontroom I did the same and now I have washed the kitchen floor so I think I deserve a rest.

I am doing fish and chips today. I am not catholic like my sister but we have always had fish on good friday and I still keep that up. my sister will not take meat on good friday. my daughter is the same fish and chips on a good friday.
I didnt buy myself and easter egg but a friend brought me one. I brought some for my Great Grandchildren well my daughter brought them for me. saves carrying them over to Hayes.

Morning all
Beautiful morning here so far. Sun is shining, what a difference it makes.

After going to the dentists yesterday morning, I went and got some more wool, to make things for the expected baby for September. We got more sunflower seeds for the feeders in the garden, as they are very hungry. Then we went across to see FIL and ended up going out for lunch I had venison steak, salad and new potatoes. After we went to the rescue centre for horses at Speen. Jean, Sue and Yvonne would have loved it there. They are all in good condition now. But some were hard worked police or miitary horses. Others (8 I think) were from Spindles Farm, which was notorious in the area. It is free entry just donations into a bucket.
Not sure what we are doing today, or tomorrow. Sunday off to see the baby, his parents and other grandparents, at lunchtime, we are taking the pudding. He has gained weight again and is now 8lb 9oz.

I am still taking the tablets for the giddyness etc and feel a bit better but not 100%.
Hope Rita, Mrs Stephen and George are feeling better. Hope nobody else is under the weather today.

Have a nice day everyone, Hot Cross Buns and Easter Eggs are off the menu for me but enjoy them everyone else if you have them.

Hi all just popping in while i have sometime be for Catlin gets up.

Thank you for birthday wishes, had good time. Kids giving me money so i can put to to having ancestry for a year.

Wont be going home until Tuesday so will pop on when i can and if it lets me get to last page.

Morning Nice to see some faces back on I was beging to wonder what had happened.? pleased to hear your wife blood results were fine. and Foggy thanks for letting us know about George I wondered if it was a virus as there are so many different ones about. it is not surprising with the weather we are having. do I go out in my summer wear of winter wear today.?
I hope everyone has a good day today Good Friday it seems to have come a round very quickly. I wonder how Pauline is, I was hoping she would be feeling a little better and we get a message from her.I do wish her well.

A row of bottles on my shelf
Caused me to analyze myself.

One yellow pill I have to pop
Goes to my heart so it won't stop.

A little white one that I take
Goes to my hands so they won't shake.

The blue ones that I use a lot
Tell me I'm happy when I'm not.

The purple pill goes to my brain
And tells me that I have no pain.

The capsules tell me not to wheeze
Or cough or choke or even sneeze.

The red ones, smallest of them all
Go to my blood so I won't fall.

The orange ones, very big and bright
Prevent my leg cramps in the night.

Such an array of brilliant pills
Helping to cure all kinds of ills.

But what I'd really like to know..........

Stephen, cuckle is the name our children gave to prickles, so you still have some wee prickles to give us? And you didnt answer my question about the thermals. Of course if you were down under you would have to tuck your kilt into your thermals or you would have it hanging around your ears, being upside down.

This thread use to be very active. you could log on and always find a message or someone on it to talk too. we had good laughs as you know. but now we dont get that anymore., you go all day with no one coming onto the board perhaps we are becoming stale ?

It is not very nice a real grey day I suppose it could be worst thick snow.
this Hose pipe ban they have will not really affect me. but I expect it will a lot of people.

I am wondering now whether it will affect window cleaners. ? we have one compamy that call once a month and use hose pipes. I know the water comes from their vans. but it is still a hosepipe they use.

The increase in Postage stamps will make people think twice before they send out cards . so that will affect peoples jobs ?

I wonder what else will come up as a savings and cost people more money or jobs. ?

just thought I would brighten a day for those who come under these increases and hose pipes.

it is quiet cold here infact my windows on the outside are very misty this morning so must have been cold last night.
My right eye is almost shut now and weeping people will think I am winking at them and crying at the same time ROL

Huia I get on a bus sometimes going into Woking and there is a lady gets on that and sits and talks to me. she then tells me she has no idea where she is or where she is going.?
she is sitting on the seat in the bus shelter when I go home so I get her to come on it with me and get off when I do and take her to where she lives
she thanks me and offers to money . I told her she must not go out on her own and to get her warden to go with her should she needs to go shopping. she lives i n a warden block of flats. she know sometimes where she is other no idea.
