Morning everyone Bit grey here this morning, think it will be wet again later Rita
I was thinking of you and all your family last night and will keep you in my thoughts while you get through this very hard time. I really hope things will get better for you all and soon.
Had a nice lunch yesterday with my friends, who were Mum's together when our children were at school, so over 20 years now.
Today our daughter is coming with the baby and we are all going to see my Mum. I hope to get some pictures of the 4 generations.
Have a nice day everyone

A Wee Chuckle for the day
One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together.
They each bought a pint of Guinness.
Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints, and were stuck in the thick head.
The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust.
The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer, and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened.
The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink, held it out over the beer, and started yelling,..........
"SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, GIVE ME BACK MY DRINK.''.

Thank you Stephen and Marilyn I felt bad at telling you all about how the family is suffering but felt better by being able to tell you.. I could cry a bucket when I think of how my children are suffering. why ? thats what I keep asking myself.?
Marilyn I have been clearing my drawers and cupboards out and taking things to charity shop I dont want to leave everything for the children to have to sort out. but I find I buy things and so get back to square one I have made my mind up I will start clearing again when I feel a little better. at the moment I dont feel like doing anything.

Hello friends Not been a good day for my family. it gets no better. My son had his operation to try and save his sight, he is home but not feeling too great. not surprising as they dont put you to sleep. he goes back tomorrow to check on the eye that was done.he will be away from work for a few weeks now.he cannot see anything only light and dark at the moment.
My other son who lost a kidney through cancer now has cancer on his lung and they cannot do anything for him.he had been told he could go on for a few years 5. 6. 8.; so you can imagine how we are feeling..
My Granddaughter has been given an appointment for another hospital, the drugs she has been on has caused alot of problems and she may have to have a big operation in a couple of years time she is 36. so you see nothing good to report from my family
I didnt feel good this morning either my PMR has played up so I am in a lot of pain. I will have to have a blood test for that to test the level.but my warfarin I get those results tomorrow ?
I was not going to put this on the board but thought I would explain what the family are going through.
a trouble shared is a trouble halved so I am told.

A Wee Chuckle for the day
An Irishman walks into a bar in Dublin . . . . . . orders three pints of Guinness and sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells him, "You know, a pint goes flat after I draw it, it would taste better if you bought one at a time."
The Irishman replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in America, the other is in Australia, and I'm in Dublin. When we all left home, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days we drank together. So I drink one for each o'me brothers and one for me self." The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there.
The Irishman becomes a regular in the bar, and always drink the same way: He orders three pints and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and orders two pints. All the other regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss."
The Irishman looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns and he laughs. "Oh, no, everybody's just fine,"
He explains,....
"it's just that me wife had us join that Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking...............
Hasn't affected me brothers though."
