I managed to dodge the rain this morning going to work, and just walked in the door this evening and it began again.

Goodness but it is chilly out there. Pleased that everyone is keeping well and warm. I dress like Nanook of the North to go to work. lol

Whew, I am here at long last. I have been trying to get on here for days now, without success.

I hope you are having better weather than we have had this week. This is my third day of sitting in the house and not stepping over the threshold.
The central heating is still on, but it's to cold to turn it off.
Ooooh I am thoroughly p**d off.

I hope to be able to get back and see you tomorrow, to catch up on all your news.

Welli ut my heating on to dry my washng top i need for tonight, and yet again its not working, so been waiting in alday for them to come and fix it, And they have just got here to do it. Well bloke phoned office and had right old go at them. So have someone that hopfully willget it sorted, I HOPE.

OH informed me this morning that I had a flat tyre on my car so I had to get that repaired before I could do anything else, went to a tyre garage near me and they took ages, the lad found a big nail in the tyre.

It seems that we are all having the same problem with this thread Rita, I click on the 'post date' now, though it's back to front and when I add a reply it usually gets there so I hope you don't leave us, we would truly miss you.

I have to renew at the end of this month

My piece I have just sent on here I typed it and reviewed it then submitted it. it came back after awile error. this page has run out. guess what it went onto the thread.

I am sick if it now. it makes me ill as you never know what they are doing. I dont thik I will bother to renew next time.

It is still raining here I mean real rain not showers but we have enough in the car park to go sailing , anyone one fancy it ? your need water proof of every kind.
And we still have a hose pipe ban ? .not that the hose pipe ban affects me.
My friend in Norfolk phoned last night and asked will it ever end ? this rain..she said her garden was bone dry now it is water logged. well we cannot have it always.?

. My daughter goes back to Munster in Dorset in three weeks time for a week with her husband. I said I hope it get better before and when your there.? she said we intend going fishing for a few days while there.

I have the hospital car booked for Tuesday 1st my scan results not expecting good news. I dont know what that is.????????????????
Then on Wednesday my foot man is coming to give my feet a going over.and cut my toe nails.

I am going to fill in my voting slip now and sent it off. it has to get there by 3rd May.It may have to go by boat.

I am still waiting for my passport renewal to come back.3 weeks now.it went special deleivery as well.

Just looked out of the window. As you know I can see quite a bit of the London skyline out of my top back bedroom window.

The sun is setting, the clouds have a pinky hue to them.

On the right hand side of all the big buildings is a fiery red. It looks wonderful.

I've come over all poetic. lol

well George I did buy myself a packet of sweets eclairs and I bought a cake how naughty is that ?
The sun has come out here real sun and a blue sky with a couple of white clouds.
I wonder how long that will last.

I went to do some shopping I was getting low on fresh stuff , loads of frozen. What a shock I got when I saw the prices had gone up on five items I wanted.. all by 25 p each. Half their shelves were empty as well. I asked one of the assistants if they were stock taking.?

It is a miserable day here all doom and gloom. what has happened to our weather ?
did you notice it changed when they brought in the hose pipe ban.? I think someone is telling us something there." dont jump the gun."
next we will see all the veg and fruit going up in price because it has been spoiled by heavy rain.

I am out of bread and milk so sometime to day I am going to have to take a walk across to the shop. or go without.

Yvonne i dont thinki have any Gurrs from Kent but will look and see i havent done much on them yet. Most ofmine came from the Old Kent Road south London. When i start working on that side again will let you know if i find any. I have the names Priddy and Davies to do with them, I know off hand.

I havent been out today getting paperwork ready for tomorrow as i am hoping to get to TNA at Kew. See how body is in the morning.

Marilyn you have been busy, i am over at Teris Thursday as its Caitlin birthday so going out for a meal, but while she is at school going to sort her toys out, as frontroom looks like a little girlks toy shop.

Linda glad you are doing well with diet. I am also on a diet just having smlaller meals, and trying not to eat in between meals.

Stephen you will have to set up big speakers that may help :-D
