well it is dry not raining but we have a grey sky so it looks like it just might rain.
I had an eamil from GR at long last 8 sent. as I hyave now lost the pictures from the start where they say Hello to you. I have an empty spce. I do hope they can sort it out for me. that and the threads left on pages and pages of threads I have replied to deleted mine and still get the thread. if small threads are deleted by the writer I am alright but most dont so I am all wrong lol.

Linda you must be very fit to go to GYM so much I am pleased you lost 3lbs in weight. makes you feel better and that time has not been wasted.
Is that Marilyn in North Devon this week ?

Thank you Cath I worry about myself and my eldest son who is in the same postion as myself. his would not have accurred if the hospital he kept going to took notice of what he was telling them it took them three years. now they can do nothing.

Its cloudy but dry now here hoe its still dry when i got back over to Teri again later. Had to come home yesterday to check mail and go to group meeting/

Also i had to make call to benafits people as not sent forms out for my apeal so got to now cancel meeting i had with DASH as they were going to help me fill in forms.

I also had to phone about my printer had it 8wks and its not workin. I phoned yestertday waited half an hour to talk to someone,he couldnt speak english keped getting the spelling wrong, said going to put me onto someone else and phone went off. So will try again today.

I hope to be popping back in later be for i go over to Teri, Be over there until Monday. But we are doing well with the dorting got rid of alot in 2 of the rooms. Going to start in Caitlin room tomorrow.

Stephen have a lovely wekend, I hope the weather is kind to you. Good job you are up north for the weekend and not down south as I think we are in for more of the same and of course there aren't too many mountains !! LOL

Off to the gym soon. Oh I forgot my weigh in went well Unbelievably I lost 3 lb this week. I was very pleased. Only half a pound to my 5%.

Rita try to keep a smile in your heart, some good news for you and a new great grandchild expected too.

I had the baby yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours while hubby and daughter took the dog for a walk. And he is here again on Friday while she goes to a Market Research session.

Friends here this evening for a meal. Hubby is cooking a mutton joint, I am having chicken breast as I don't like lamb.

We have no plans for the Bank Holiday weekend. Depends on the weather.

Parachute problems

Reilly had joined the British Parachute Regiment and was on his first drop.

Falling from the plane his chute wouldn't open.

Pulling his reserve handle he realised that that chute was also useless.

Plummeting towards earth, Reilly saw another person coming up towards him - it was Murphy.

'Do you know anything about parachutes?' cried Reilly.

'No,' said Murphy. 'Do you know anything about gas cookers?'

A distant cousin, that I met through GR is arriving from Australia today. She is gonna be searching for her long lost rellies. I have arranged to take her on a trip to the North of Scotland .....looking forward to that :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Also managed to find a fairly close 'living' relative for her that she is meeting up with to discuss the Family History.

Time to start packing for my weekend away with the family. Climbing , canoeing and cycling gear to sort out and I suppose I better organise some food !!!!!!!!!!!!! A lovely Lodge House in the Cairngorms for accommodation and with good weather forecast we should have a great time. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

i have just made the old man 2 egg samwich for his lunch tomorrow
and he has to drive a bus full of people PMSL

Rita if your consultant has told you not to worry try and take his advice. Easier said than done I know but worrying won't make it go away. I'm so glad you had some good news about your grandaughter expecting a baby.
About time you had a change of luck after the difficult times you have had.

I got to the hospital at 1.45 my appointment was for 2 o;clock there was no water on the road from Woking to Guildford but lots of road works going on. The Woman who drove me belongs to Goldsworth Park care and the drive you to the hospital, and doctors even take you shopping. you have to pay their costs of petrol .I dont know what I would do without them. I was the first one in and professor asked me where my son was I told him about the operation to save his sight. he game me a message for John.
It appears I have a small pea like cancer on my adrenal gland he said dont worry about it Rita it is very small and only showed up as I had idione scan done. but if it has started to grow on my next appointment in three months time they will see what treatment to give me. but I have to have a blood test done for my bones and liver; next time. sometimes these appear and stay and do not grow.
I told him my eldest son had lost a kidney through cancer and about him having to have his adrenal glands removed as they atarted to spead. he said it is so unusal to find two people in a family so close with the same type of cancer./.
anyway I was home by 2 o'clock and it did not rain.
My son had gone to his consultan at Barts to day the same time hows that for twins.?but they dont know how long he has got.

But his daughter emailed me to tell me she is having her first baby . it was their wedding I went to last september. my son is thrilled to bits at becoming a Grandfather. the baby is due on her mothers birthday in November. so that is good news.

just thought I would let you know how I got on.

I dont flamim believe it. I manage to get on here, and lose all that I have written. So sod it, I am just going to say. HELLO everyone, hope you are all well.
Will try again tomorrow to get on and write more.

Thanks Linda and Cath I know they cannot do much, but if it grows slowly it is better for me.
I was doing some research on my Grandfathers brothers as two went to Wales to live they had large familes and I traced them to Cardiff. Meytha Tywel and Canton as well as Glarmogan and found most had become miners working in the pits doing all sorts of jobs done the pits I found their addresses and think they must be miners houses. one became a police office in Canton, then I married some up and there are so many Jones , Thomases. and other Welsh surnames.

I have another problem when I go to home to get off the sight I have no longer got photos of my name and family it has gone. very strange.
never mind.
