Rita.....I did think about making bunting but when you see it soooooo cheap on internet not worth thinking about making any , but I have made a Union Jack blouse out of a huge flag I bought many years ago all I did was sew up the sides and made a hole for the neck !!...... with white slacks.
We all have to dress in anything BRITISH ...ie Beetles ,Maggie Thatcher,as long as its British , or your turned away from the Party ..LOL

Morning. I have been busy cleaning the bathroom and bedroom and some drawers in the living room . so I was surprised some one had been on the board. not flown to the moon ?

Firstly what has happened to me when I submit some writing it seems to go on for a while then I get the error notice come up. but surprise surprise
the article I had written is on FT. even though error message came up.

I am pleased you had a nice rest in North Devon .but dont you rest when your home and out Pete does all the work ? lol

I dont think Stephen will get much of this Canoeing. Mountain Climbing and camping. if the weather caste is anything to go on. ?

We dont have Bank Holidays here in NZ, except for the fact that the banks are closed on the public hols, ie, Waitangi day, Christmas and Boxing days, New years day and the day after, and our provincial anniversary days, and Easter of course. And Queen's birthday the first weekend in June and Labour day in Oct. I am not sure if the banks close for the whole of Anzac day or just for the morning. The supermarkets close until 1 p.m. on Anzac day.

Had a great time in North Devon, only rained on one day, but it never deter 'd us from doing our trips !

My sister was so pleased to see us as Pete does her DIY jobs, he gets cakes & tea bought on a TRAY in front of him , I told my sister that pack that in ..LOL he'll expect that treatment when I go home :-S

Even though its only been a few days away the garden looks as though its been left for months !, so I guess I'll have to do some weeding and tiding up.

Gosh I saw the forecast for Scotland last night , not good for our Stevey for his weekend away ... :-(

Maddie ....when do you retire ? I think you and Cath are the only ones that Work ..!!

The weather is not good. will it ever change I wonder ? I think when they said they were banning the hose pipe that was when the weather changed. so if they lift the hose pipe ban I think the sun and warmth would come back.

Cold and grey here again and rain expected. At least its a long weekend :-D
OH and I are laying the new wooden floor in our bedroom this weekend and then the refurbishment is complete :-D :-D :-D :-D

Going back to Ireland on 31st May to collect my mother-in-law and take her to care home in Gosport. More Ferry travel :-0 :-0 :-0 YIKES!!!!!!!

Hope you have a lovely weekend Stephen. Forecast is better with less rain but frosts overnight on Saturday even down south. So the tomatoes will have to come in again then.
Birds are still feeding like mad and I have seen a few youngsters being fed by the parents.
No plans for today so far. Will go to the gym and hubby has the hygenist.

Hi Everyone

I too have had ERROR lots of ties this morning. Maddening as I have been OK up to now. Just renewed so they had better sort it out eh.

Dull here this morning. Got washing out yesterday but not quite dry. Off to vote soon so hope it keeps dry then we can walk.

Need to go into Wokingham and pay some bills too.

Have to sort through the photos from the photoshoot and decide on which one to have as the big picture from my children. And sort out a meal for our daughters birthday on Tuesday
