Back from the gym. It really is hard work, not getting any easier!! LOL

Dull here rained all night but the garden is nice and green.

Out for lunch today a friends birthday, so must choose wisely. Then tomorrow is our daughter's birthday, meal out in the evening.

Still doing knitting done the back of a blue cardigan last night so might get some more done today.

Hi all

Not up to writing much as some of you know i have had my benafits stopped so no rent,pol tax or any money in the bank for me. They stopped it without telling me. Its the result of my mediical i had in Feb. I dont know who he had in his room but it wasnt me. I got no points which i should have at least 10 for the things i have wrong with me. let alone what i cant do.

I am going to get help and advice today filling in the apeal form so hopfully once that goes in i will get a bit of money until it all sortted. The last time this happen it took them over 8 weeks. Keep telling me i will get the back pay, but i said to them how do i live and eat in the mean time.

Dont know how they get away with doing this to people.

Not good again. ? I think that we are all getting older so we take longer to do things. is that why we seem to be low on the income on this thread.? I know some people are not well..?

I did not see much yesterday about " Victory over Europe "! plenty of stuff about France and Germany Spain and Greece.

I can recall that day. and how we celebrated. but it seems this country has forgotten. It is so sad.that people forget so quickly.

Anyway I hope everyone is well. I hope our Pauline is getting on OK. ?

I am off now to do some breakfast. then I am going to tackl some more washing.

Well just back from WW .............. I lost another pound, so pleased with myself. Still motivated so I am glad it is working this time.

Grandson is OK the guy doing the ultrasound could find no problems thank goodness. He said as he was born early sometimes the muscle at the top of the stomach take longer to settle and firm up.

So all is good.

I took 10 tiny hats into Special Care whilst we were there. The nurses seemed pleased and no sign of the crochet blankets. I spoke to a Mum who was there waiting to see her twin sons born at 2lb+ and 3lb+ so very tiny. She already had 2 older children and said she is still in shock but the babies are OK.

Have a nice evening everyone. We had a little rain Maddie but not much.

Not a bad day at work. Not rushed off my feet for a change, and the rain was not too hard. I am sure I am getting webbed feet. The Ark is coming on a treat too.

Did I tell you I have 3 orchids in bloom, and the 4th in bud? They are beautiful. I am really proud of myself for not killing them.

Dame shelly, London has changed quite a lot, for the worst unfortunately, the streets are dirtier, there seems to be no pride where you live anymore, you only have to look at the windows as you pass by, skanky old curtains against dirty windows :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(.
Yes in some areas its nice, but give it a few years and the nice areas will be the same, glad I left when i did. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Stephen pleased you and your family had a great time in the hills, it's lovely your grand-daughters enjoy the outdoors, so many children now sit infront of a tv or computer instead of being out in the fresh air.

I haven't been to Gt Yarmouth in ages we had a family holiday near Hopton when son was small, drove into Gt Yarmouth then drove out again! thought it was very scruffy, Hopton and Gorleston were nicer and lovely beaches.

I am pleased to hear you were lucky with your weather Stephen. the forcast I heard was Scotland was having heavy rain and winds so you must have missed all that good for you.

Linda and Maddie hope you had a good weekend. ? I never know what day of the week it is. ? as I have no school children and never have a set date unless it is the hospital. ? I only know when I open my pill box that has days marked on it. so I know today is Tuesday.lol

There was not much on TV over the holidays. but there never is. the same old repeats and the same old films so I either read or watch a DVD.
you would think the TV channels would put something on that was new a film or drama. I think they are trying to save money to buy the sports contracts.

Anyway if the weather is dry I will go out for a walk. to get some fresh air and exercise.

My wee grand-daughters have now climbed their first 4,000ft mountain. They were chuffed to bits. They aslo have expeienced their first canoe trip on a river with small rapids. Their screams of delight were a joy to hear.

Mrs Stephen can still paddle a canoe as well , she's doing ok for an old lass. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Hello Marilyn,

Gawd shoes. Dont mention them. I keep them in their boxes so they dont get scratched. I was trying to find something to wear the other month and had the wardrobe doors wide open. My shoes are in the bottom of the wardrobe. K. looked up and said 'Dont tell me you have a pair of shoes in ALL those boxes'. I shut the doors very quickly. lol

I've bought two pairs of loafers to wear with my new linen capri pants.

Maddie the only thing I miss about London is the Theatre & Shops, but as I'm older than you I do so need the quiet life :-) :-D ;-)
I remember there was a fantastic Shoe shop in Bermondsey that was run by my neighbours son that lived near me I was always a bit dubious about him I think half of his stock was nicked !! but they were fabulous shoes I always bought 2 or 3 pairs because they were so cheap !

Dont get that pleasure now.....here in Devon, more like Wellingtons on my list.
