Whispers...................lovely morning the sun is shining.

I thought the end of the world was nigh, yesterday afternoon.............crickey we had it all in an hour............dark clouds, hail stones, high winds, heavy rain...........and then the clouds rolled away without a by your leave. Very strange. Hope you escaped it, it was very scary. Son got caught in it, and was soaked to the skin.

Trust Marilyn and Shelly who are on the diet, sorry, experiment, are managing to get some ruffage, or else, they will be in BIG trouble. lol

Awhh Hazel....So sorry about your problems.....you never know it may well turn out better than you thought.
At least the doctor has given you a letter.......did you read what was in it ?

I have notice everyone is being checked in UK for all their benefits in the papers.

Just keep yourself busy Hazel and try not to worry .....at least you can let steam off on here ....we don't mind ;-)

Just popping in to see how it is goin. I am not having much luck, still not getting any money, Sent appeal form in with letter, Now they want a sick note from doctor, so been to get that, but he waouldnt date it from when they wanted him to.But sent it anyway with another letter. Plus copy of appeal from that they say havent got yet.

I need to get away from everything yesterday so went for a long bus ride to High Wycombe even tho it was pouring down just needed space and to be out. Then got home sat down with a drink and the sun came out.I do think someone up there dont like me at the moment. Had few other things going on as well. As they say if it dont rain it pours.

Morning all ..

I have been on £1 a day thread........

Now after having my morning tea break with no toast as I need every slice of bread for the next 3 days !!

I'm a little worried as I haven't got a dinner for Friday I could only afford a pack of 4 Baked potatoes. one odd potato Asd@ wanted 38p or was it 35p !! cant remember I only had 9p left at that time ......I made the assistant laugh as I told her I could not possibly afford that ...I'm only on a £1 a day rations....so I had to explain to her what I was up too .. she did laugh so I guess it went around the canteen that morning .

I have since bought a tin of mushy peas for 8p.....so got 1p LEFT !!!!

So I'll be having my Fruit & Fibre for Friday's dinner and ANYTHING else that's left over.
So I guess it could be ZERO Left :-D :-(

Well done Shelly he should be very pleased with you.

Off to the shops soon, need some food as we have been away and got a bit low. Think it will be more than £5 each somehow.

I have been having lots of problems getting on here, 'error message' or sometimes just not moving off the first page. so I gave up for a few days.

It is not really it is pouring of rain. the plants like it. I dont. I think we have had enough for a few months

I have been up since 5 made a cup of tea, then went back to bed and laid there could not go back to sleep so got up. when I looked out the window it was pouring of rain great big puddles..
I am not going anywhere. so it is not aproblem.

one of my Grandsons is going to Wales with his school next week. so I hope it will be dry at least.

Thanks, yes we got home fine............ rained all the way, Need to do a huge basket of laundry, but that can wait til the morning.
Beeen to WW well I need to go on the 1 a day diet as I put on a pound this week. Tooooo many chips over the weekend, me thinks. Why are most pub meals served with chips? and no choice.

I have been up since 7 o'clock. I normally do my washing but cannot as there was an accident with the washing machine yesterday so we have no washer only a dryer lol.

Just answered some of my emails from America. it seems strange my replying to theirs while they are a sleep and they get them when they wake the next morning.

well off to have another cup of tea and a piece of toast.
