Evening everyone
Well today was Ok. Hubby got the grass cut, I cut back some shrubs and potted up an hydrangea and rhoddendrhon(sp).
Got the washing dry too, sheets an all.

Had tea with my neighbour, this afternoon.

Have finished the cardigan Mo. Just started a hat in blue, for the Special Care unit

Afternoon All.

still grey outside, but no rain today. hurrah.

Thank you Linda, I am enjoying my time off. I am in for a couple of hours on Sunday, but go back proper on Wednesday. With the run up to the Olympics it will be bedlam. We have extended opening hours, so people will be stocking up for a siege.

Luckily I walk to work, so will not have to endure the fiasco of the transport problems that are predicted.

I've bought some bunting from the Poundshop, so will stick that outside the house nearer the date. That will cheese the neighbours off. :-D

Our window boxes will probably go out tonight, there was a risk of frost so we kept them in for a few days. They are red, white and blue, too.

I am thinking of rigging up loudspeakers on the window sills and playing Pomp and Circumstance 24 hrs a day. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Oh, by the way, I have bought a £10 meal deal for Sunday, so looking forward to that. [ducks as Marilyn and Shelly throw shoes at me]

What nooooo Stevey .......?????

Well just to let you all know I'm still in the challenge ..!!

Its OK and I feel fine, but have missed a taste of variety ...

God knows why I'm doing it , something told to go back to my childhood days when we had nothing much to eat but fish !! mind you I still love fish.
even the cat had what my mother cooked...LOL

We were fed but only enough to live & breath ...gosh I was sooooo skinny , but no different than the rest of the kids...perhaps it was a good thing I never saw a overweight child ever !

I hope Mo has had a good time ....she has been missed

I was thinking , two days to go for the girls who have tried living on £1 a day meals.
I would have tried it but due to health it is a dit doggy for me to attempt?
.I do have days when I eat less. I have to be careful with my warfarin as Iron in foods is a no no only a small amount. and I love Greens sprouts anything that is green in veggies.

I hope Mo has good weather, there is a lot to do in Yarmouth but the trouble is it costs so much..

.Linda it is overcast here. I intended washing a couple of tops that have small stones and sequiens on ( I dont like these to go in the washer.) but need the dry weather so I can put them on the outside line. I dont think I am going to be able to do that today.

Morning All !

Well I have returned from an epic 700 mile round trip.. Tried to cram in as much as possible for my Australian Cousin.

Had everything the weather could throw at us. Glorious sunshine, TORRENTIAL rain for a full day, 60mph winds, and a bit of snow for good measure. Needless to say we still had a great time and she saw many parts of our wee country.

Hello Everyone of my nice friends

Linda your right , I got up at 6 this morning the sun was out and I could not lay there and watch the sun shining any minute it could vanish. it was chilly .still is . the cars in the car park had a cold mist on them.
It is so nice to see the sun, and have you noticed how it brings a smile to the faces of people?

I was thinking of Marilyn and Shelley and there £1 a day diet what I would like to know is ? what will you spend ? ,what you have saved on the food on ?

I was sitting eating a crunchie bar last night and though I could have had two of these if I had been on that diet and nothing more.
I had already eaten a large pear. and a small orange and a small apple during the day.along with sausages and mash and baked beans. and toast at breakfast

I did a few exercises sitting down then standing up. and hope that covered the guilt I felt lol.

Hope to get into the garden today. Grass needs hacking down, never know might find some wild animals out there if we are unlucky. Tomatoes back into the greenhouse later too.

Nearly finished a blue cardigan, just the button band to do.
