Hello peoples, I am back safe and sound from me hols. Our weather was not to bad at all, we had rain on the monday and tuesday, but the rest of the time it was dry and bright.
We were very dissappointed in the holiday camp. As it was so early in the season, there was not a lot happening there, but our caravan was beautiful, our Marilyn would have been proud of it, coz it was deffo up to her standard.
We played Canasta every night in the van, as baby Lilly needed her sleep.
Poor little one was so unwell whilst we were away, our son took her to see the local doctor, and he said she had Croup.
As most of us know, the one thing they suggest for Croup, is a warm steamy room, to open the airways up, to ease the coughing. But, as it was so chilly of a night time,we had to have the central heating on, and it dried the air out in the room, so baby was coughing even more. We tried hanging damp washing in the van, but it's not very nice dodging wet clothes, in such an enclosed area. It looked like a Chinese laundry in there at one time.
We did visit Yarmouth and Norwich a couple of times, and ended up with sore aching feet from all the walking.

Rita, you are in my thoughts and prayers my love. Stay strong for us, and know that we are here for you whenever you need us.

I really missed my lappy when I was away, not knowing what was happening on here, nearly did me in. (Being the nosey beggar that I am lol)

I met Susan NZ this morning with her husband. Lovely people. We went for a cup of coffee and a natter. She said she has been here a few days, and visited quite a few places. Safe journey home when she goes.

Back to work on Wednesday, I am counting down the hours. :-(

I think we are in for a sunny day .......its still a bit hazy,but warm.

Its the week after that we want the Heat wave Cath .. as we have a Jubilee party in one of the neighbours garden on the 2nd.

I have made a top from a union Jack flag ..LOL as we all have to dress up !

I have bought my grand children Union jack T-shirts to wear with their Blue jeans.

I wonder where Pat went....did she say she was leaving GR ?

Not heard from Dermot for a while either :-S

Oh well I'm going to E-Mail Pauline to see how things are .

Hope you had a good weekend. my daughter came over yesterday (Sunday) I had trouble with my printer and she sorted it out for me. My son goes back to hospital this morning to see the consultant about his eyes.
he has been wearing a patch to try and get the pressure up as it went too low. so I am hoping he gets good results? otherwise they will operate again this week.

other than that I didnt do much over the weekend. I am trying to clear some of the files I did while doing my family research I have so many files of people I researched it is now time to let them go as I have them on the trees. I dont want the children to have to go through all these when I go.

I have washing to do this morning. then this week I will be busy. doctors wednesday for medical check-up. Friday nurse for warfarin blood test. I also have to make an appointment for my eye tests at specsave.

Rather dull this morning but apparently it will improve later and as the week goes on become a mini heatwave :-D :-D :-D About time too. I can't believe I haven't yet packed away my winter woollies.
Had a quiet weekend by our standards and managed to do lots of little jobs that had been stacking up for weeks.
Taking mother to town this morning and I am NOT going to spend a single penny :-0

I have just been gardening.....the sun is there ,but wont come out just yet !!

Just tiding up all the paths etc....quite enjoyable cause there is no bitter wind ,just perfect for gardening.

Nice meal with friends last night. Have our daughter and a friend coming to dinner here this evening, so must get tidied up and the ironing out of the way.
Bit dull here first thing might get better later as the day moves on if we are lucky.
Nearly finished a tiny cardigan and have done 2 more tiny hats so far.

I think I'm going to have more Baked Potatoes in future they did fill me up ,but with better fillings.....I never felt hungry afterwards.

Got a chicken casserole tonight .....but going to have less of everything !! I think I should loose some weight

It is a bit grey here this morning. But it might get better, hopefully.
Managed to get the front garden tidied up a bit yesterday, hubby cut the grass and then it rained in the evening.

Out with neighbours last night and down to friends this evening, so a quiet weekend became busy.

I am late on. I had a really bad restless night last night so started to reply to emails then onto GR site and was so tired I had to stop and fell asleep.

My son has had a set back with his eye operation. he now had patches on eyes and cannot see anything. he will be like this for a couple of days to see if it works when they take the patches off. ? if not they intend to operate again.

I feel l so down about it all.I feel I am living in a different world.?
the harder I pray thing will go right, the worst it becomes.I am glad my husband is no longer around to see what has happened to our family.

Hi all

I have been trying to get to last page yeserday but just wouldnt let me. But here now.

Well still no money coming in yet,I am hoping they get my appeal letter today that i sent off last Wednesday. I so have had to send in a sick note. Which i am hoping they get today or it be Monday as that was sent last Friday.

Its cloudy and cold here today. But looks like tomorrow going to be nice.

My friend Natalie took me out for lunch yesterday. She is having bit of a time of it as well, so we both let off steam. So helped each other. But cant do anything for each other, other then surport each other.

Well the other day i sent an email to someone on Anc***ry who had my mum on his tree. Well he got back to me last night and his grandad was my grandad brother. He has only just started doing his tree, so i able to fill him with alot. And he can do the same bits i havent got.
