Cooeee everyone,
It's sweaty Betty Mo here. I don't know we are never happy are we, it's either to cold, or to hot, but I am not complaining.
I have sat in the garden under my parasol for most of the day, luvverly.
I decided to go back out this afternoon, to read my book, and lo and behold, the parasol has gone.
Poor Roly got the blame, I thought he had put it away in the shed, but he hadn't, and it was nowhere in the garden.
The wind had got up slightly, and lifted the parasol out of it's base, and flown over the fence into next doors garden, oops sorry my love for blaming you, I had to eat my words. lol

Thanks for the cold drink Yvonne, I enjoyed it.

Morning. I am off to get my eyes tested today at Specsave. I hope they dont make a mistake this time with my eye perscription. they got it all wrong last year and I had to go back and get it changed.

What wonderful weather I am thrilled to bits about it . as many people will celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee and if the weather is like this, it will be wonderful for them. so lets hope it lasts for a long while now.

Mo I too got through right away this morning. it is nice when it is like that.

I hope out Pauline gets good MRI results so they can give her treament.

Stephen still missing ? shall we send out for the army to look for him? maybe he got lost in thoses mountains ?

Well i'll be blowed, I got on here first time this time round, no being thrown out, no error messages or anything, whoopeeee.

I hope everyone has had a lovely day in the sunshine.
I was out spraying the front drive, trying to rid the herring bone off weeds. Cor it was stiflingly hot out there, and I was glad to get back in the house for some shade.

A very good friend of ours is not having a very good time of it at the moment, so I would like to send her my love, and let her know we are thinking of her.

I cannot say exactly what is wrong with her, and will wait for Jeni to explain, but suffice to say, she needs all our love and healing thoughts again.

Good New Marilyn. it is nice to hear good news so much of the things these days are bad.

My sisters children were all born in USA and the had to stand and say the Anthem with their hand on their hearts.everyday at colledge.and then University.

I dont think the British people care much now . they did when I was a young girl. but these days people very rarely have a flag flying unless it is for the England Football team.
Maybe it is because we have a large amount of people from europe?
as you often see them flying flags of their own country.

you would think they would be pleased we have the Games here.and we would see the flag flying. but all I hear is people calling strikes to interfer with the games..shame really.

Yvonne my sister loves going to Canada she goes on tours every other year for a month at a time. then she goes to stay with her son in Washington before she flies home. she said it is a beautiful country.and never gets tired of going there.

Marilyn isnt it next month you go to Alaska ?or is it Iceland. ? I have fogotten now.? I know it is where it is light all night long.

My daughter is off to Dorset tomorrow with her husband for ten days. I go to Eastbourne on 26th June. but stay with my sister till 30th as her son is over from America while we are away

I do hope this weathers stays for along while.

Marilyn what wonderful news, so pleased for you

I noticed that about the americans, they are very proud of thier flag, when we were at Disney a few years ago the flag was taken down at the end of the day everyon stood to attention and sung the national anthem with their hand over their heart. I don't know many british people who know our national anthem, especially the younger generation
