It has been beautiful, been to Petworth, NT. Lovely House, lots of interest. The grounds were great too sat by a beautiful lake for a while just relaxing.

Back home now too hot to eat so will leave that til later.

Everytime I write something to submit on here it waits till I have finished and then I get half a page one half is my Favourites the other is half of this page. needles to say I have no way of getting out of it but to go back to home and start again.

I have been a busy bee again , awaiting for my Norwich grandchildren's visits on Friday......awh cant wait , but probably will be glad when they go home...... after 24hrs ...LOL

Spent yesterday afternoon and eve with our children partners and grandson. We had a family BBQ. It was lovely The baby is gorgeous he is very contented, gaining weight, now nearly 11lb. Had the last of his 3 immunisations on wednesday so thats all done.

Managed some gardening yesterday.

Hubby already sitting in the garden. I got a bit pink yesterday so will have to be careful today.

Quiet day today. Have a lovely day everyone

Marilyns right Cath, rant away to your hearts content, we have all been there.
My son is having problems with his ex wife at the moment as well.
They came to an agreement about how much maintenance he would pay her, for his two children, but the CSA have asked him to ring them on Monday, hhhhm very suspicious, as I know he has not missed any payments.
His ex is due a baby with her new partner any day soon, so it does make me wonder what she is up to, crafty mare that she is.

Well it's been another boiling hot day here in Kent, and it looks like it's not going to break till about Wednesday at the earliest.

Why is it that if I put a line of washing out, a bird always comes along and poos on it.
Yesterday and today, it has happened on my clean washing, why oh why is it always me.
If I could catch them, I would supply them all with nappies, and wet wipes to clean themselves, dirty little blighters.
I know I have got a bird bath in the garden, but I wish they would use it more often. lol ;-)

Oh Cath....you can rant and rave as much as you like with us friendlies thats what we are here for ....Support !!
Cath I have had similar with my sisters son with his first marriage with her DIL she kept telling the kids their father was no good..... when it was her that was caught found in the house with another man ..GRRRR. but their is so much more to tell, I'd be here all night if I started ...

Sorry George has left us, he was good fun and a great double act with Foggy.
Had a difficult few days with sons ex partner. The less I say about her the better but I have never met a more vindictive, manipulative, lying, self-centred, spoilt brat in my life. Uses their 7 year old daughter as a pawn in her stupid mindgames and that is so not right. Sorry for ranting but I am so angry and upset at the moment and need to vent my spleen. I feel for my grandaughter and my son but there is nothing I can do to help.

Good afternoon all.

Just come back from the Heath. Did not take the dog, as we thought it would be cruel to take her out in this weather. She is sprawled out in the kitchen, as that as the coolest flooring.

I did behave and splosh on the sun cream, but just managed to miss a bit on the top of my shoulder, and that is the bit that is red. :-0

Hope Jeniwren is on the up, and Pauline will be back soon.

I had a phone call a little while ago to tell me my glasses were ready for picking up. no way am I going out in this heat.. so I will collect them on Monday. at least I have paid for them. I was dozing in the chair when they called. I woke and didnt know where I was ?

We have a lovely breeze here at the moment the curtains are blowing as I have the window open
.
Joan and elder lady near me (in the flat right opposite to me) she is 96 and is quiet active although she has had some strokes. I watched her go and do her laundry and she got her chair out to sit on the grass. she fell over and cut her arm so the paramedics came out they didnt take her away but gave her treatment her arm was not broken.
Needless to say I have not ventured out. I could not stand this heat at this time of day. so I am doing crossword puzzels and watching some film on TV..
I am going to make a cup of tea now.

so hope you will all enjoy the sun while you canas long as you dont get burnt.

Well it is certainly glourious here in Berkshire.
Haven't been able to add for a couple of days, but pleased that Pauline has sent some e-mails. Glad she is slightly better.
Hope you are feeling a bit better today Rita.
Not sure why Jean isn't too good but hope things improve for her soon.

Mo seems to have had a good holiday. When are you off again Marilyn?

Sorry the boys have all gone away. Did enjoy their input.

Still knitting, reading and just received my Berkshire FH magazine..... with renewal. Currently crocheting the first of 2 baby blankets for son's baby expected in September.
Have to parcel up some goodies to go to Canada for Monday as my cousin's daughter has just had her 3rd child a girl Lily Ann, 10 days late weighing in at 7lb +.

Hello Marilyn. Jean. Mo Maddie Yvonne Shelley and Posh Sue Pauline and Cath

I know I have been on before but I thought I would mention names now.

It is still very hot. but I can feel a gentle breeze coming through the open window. I said I was going to cut down on chocolate. cakes and biscuits not that I eat a lot of them but I do eat them.now and again.

Then this morning my friend called in to see if I was OK ? and brought me a Belgian bun for my tea. she stayed for a while chatting. then just after she had left another friend called in guess what? a packet of Carmelised biscuits. to cheer me up.. sure sign I had said I will not eat biiscuits and cakes and chocloate still it was very kind of them to do that for me.

I got my bus pass come throug this morning it is a renewal it runs out on 31st May 2017I mdont think I will be around then. ROL

Strange our Stephen has gone missing. ? I do hope he is alright.
off now to sort something out for my dinner.

It is sad that so many of our friends have left this thread. but there have been so many problems it is not surprising.
we use to have over 13 at one time. not it is down to a hand full.
I will miss Geroge and his dungarees. and Foggy too. I expect he left because of George going.
I am pleased that pauline is on the mend. back are very painful when they start playing up.
My daughter and husband are in Dorset haveing lovely weather she told me last night she went to a little shop to buy fish and chips and my granddaughter droveby (she lives there in Dorset ) so my daughter said she got a big hug. she telephoned me this morning to tell me.

I had my medical yesterday afternoon I fetl ill with all the heat. today I am spending the day indoors.

Sadly our George has left GR .......he had had enough of the moans on GR but I 'm sure it was not because of Friendly......so I E-mailed him back to say how sorry it would be not to see him on board again, but at least he has Sarah for company.

Mo the wind went wild here this afternoon, our Parasol nearly went for a fly, but managed to hold on th it when the gush of wind came.
