Aaah Pauline, thank you for the update on our Marilyn. That poor girl has been through the mill something awful, but god willing, she will soon be on the mend, and back with us again.
Sending the BIGGEST (((((((HUGS))))))) to Marilyn, Jeni and B.C, all little fighters in their own rights.

I hope everyone is keeping well, and not suffering from webbed feet syndrome.

Hope you’re all keeping safe and well……….. and dry. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for the people who’ve been flooded out of their homes. We’ve escaped the worst of it up here.

Marilyn came out of hospital last week but she’s had trouble with swollen legs. She was supposed to be seeing her own consultant on Thursday but I’ve just found out that she was re-admitted on Wednesday - due to vomiting and swollen legs and feet. She’s waiting to see the consultant at the moment.

Well done with the smoking, Shelly. I think it’s about time you changed that avatar though…….. unless you’re trying to be first for next Christmas.

Good to see that Jean keeps getting back up, no matter how many times she gets knocked down. We’ve got a few fighters on here haven’t we?

Thank you Elizabeth for rescuing our little thread.
No news yet re Marilyn, B.C. I have spoken to Jeni (Jean) and she is plodding along day by day. Bless her she has just had one of her cattaracts done, and is still working her socks off with her horses. That girl is a real fughter, so I just hope and pray that Marilyn and B.C are the same.
We have a beautiful sunny day at the moment, but it was raining first thing this morning, and the gaden is still pretty water logged inplaces.

Hello there B.C, good to hear from you honey. Stay strong sweetheart, you know we are thinking and praying for you.

It's blowing a hoolie outside, and the godamned rain is starting again.
Somehow, our shed is soaking wet, and it's not coming from the roof, but from the raised flower bed outside.
The flower bed has been like a lake with all this rain, and it's now seeped through the brickwork, and the carpet and floor is like a swimming pool.
Another job to be sorted when this flamin weather clears up.

Shelly, I thought you gave up smoking last year hun, what happened ? Your weight will soon come off again, once you get back on your diet, but, you can only do one thing at a time matey.

Jeni, come on my love, shake yourself and get your bum back here as often as you can, I get fed up talking to myself. And yes I know, I am the only one who listens to me, so no wonder I talk to meself lol

Foggy, we have been very lucky in this part of Kent, whereas not to many miles from us, they have been flooded goodness knows how many times.
I hope you are keeping well my friend. How the devil is George these days ?

now this is the forth week i have not been smokeing
been useing the patched and seems to be working well for me
but have put on 5 pounds from my waight loss but not to bother
as i can get back into the swing of that very soon

BOO!! Hi everyone, how are you? all well I hope.
Sorry have been absent for so long, been a bit of
a grumpy knickers and of course busy with the
horses and my very active granddaughter so my
computer has been neglected, but have now
decided it is time I shook myself and got in touch
with my friends again.
No changes with me healthwise but will continue
to take life one day at a time and get ready for
Easter and the start of the riding lessons again.
So glad to hear things went well for Marilyn
when she had her op, hope she soon feels
much better.
Hope everyone is safe during this bad weather,
feels like it never going to stop raining.

Hello Elizabeth, and Shelly.
What a great idea Shelly, we will deffo have to have a party for Marilyn. I think the bridesmaids dresses are a bit dated now, so the idea of the leggings might be o.k, but knowing Marilyn, they would probably need to be cropped trousers, bought from M+S, and our Maddie will go and get them for her, as she knows the type she likes.
