Evening friends,
just popping in to say hello before I leave for Ireland tomorrow. Taking mum in law to her new care home in Gosport and then we are going on to friends in Portsmouth for a week to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It will be nice to have a week to ourselves after a difficult month.

I am late on . I went and had my warfarin blood taken this morning she was running 3/4 hour late/ I told her good job she was not running in the Games.
I then took a perscription into the chemist and did some shopping in Waitrose. pices up once again. when I asked why ? I was tolds it is Head Office that makes the prices not the shop.It could not be that everyone is buying salad stuff so they upped the prices.

I am having trouble with the computer as well. it keeps going static on me and this morning I could not move the little arrow at all. I tried Task Master and spent ages trying all sorts of things. then tried rebosting it and it worked. but I think I could be having trouble with the mouse. ? so I have put some new batteries in and we will see how that goes? now half the letters have gone on the keyboard so I have lost E R A S D O and L.

I have not had this key board for a year yet ? so be warned when you buy a new keyboard make sure the letters are not transfers. mine is welknown one and I never knew the letters were transfers.so beware.

off now to make a cup of tea.

I was busy yesterday ....had my girlie day in town Nails & Hair do ....!!

So now I need a face lift to match ..LOL

Its a bit dull here .but I'm sure it wont be long before the sun comes shinning through .

I'm getting ready and very excited about seeing my grand children coming down from Norwich on Friday.
Got loads of sweeties in the sweet drawer when Mum & Dad aren't looking ..LOL such a naughty grandma that I am .

I wonder if Stevey is ill ? I'm going to E-Mail him this morning , I wouldn't like to think he's not well .

What to do today?
Possibly go to Polesden Lacey another NT house.
We were going to go to The Bath and West Show, but it is £22 each to get in nearly 100miles there and another 100 miles back, so expensive on petrol and time and then food and drinks on top as too hard to carry enough. So maybe next year.
No storms yet so managed a fish BBQ last night.
Mind the garden is flagging

i was going to sun bath but son ask me to have ronster the monster for him and his girl so thay could do thing in there new home

We still have the heat wave/ some people had storms yesterday ? so I was told. I fully expected one last night the heat was unbareable. I went to bed at 9.45 and lay on the top of the covers. it took ages to get a sleep. and I was awake after I had to get up to go to the loo off and on all night.
I wanted the sun but I am not so sure I like this heat.?

The people on holiday in Britian I expect love this weather if they are on the coast. still showers tomorrow so make the most of it.

I didnt get a chance to see "The War Horse " last night. my friend brought me her DVD of the film. but I was reading and could not put the book down.about a Jewish family who had to leave Germany when the war broke out and start their lives fresh in Nuneaten I have only a quarter of the book to read now. and it is a thick one.

Off now to see what I fancey for breakfast

Linda with all the BBQ-s your going too your have to work harder at GYM to lose the weight. lol

I think it is hotter today than it was yesterday. it feel like it too me.

I have been living on Salads for days as I brought a lot of Salad stuff I used it incase it went off with the heat. I do keep it cool.
but it soon turns brown. I dont think I have lost weight though. I did cheat and ate a crunchie bar.

I keep getting phones calls now I have won this or that a little while ago I won a Holiday to Dubi I tell them I am not interested and hang up.I dont know how they get away with these phone calls when I am down for not receiving any.

Had a lovely day today with our daughter & grandson. Went for a walk, then we went to Lidl and got food for a BBQ tonight. Left Grandad babysitting for the first time, they both survived !! LOL
I passed on lots of toys and some books so a little more room here.

Off to WW tonight and then another BBQ with the family, let the good weather last please

Hi Girls ( no men at the moment )

I was lucky a friend took me to Woking to collect my specs. she said you dont want to walk in this heat. she was going to the market. I walk slowly back to the bus stop. boy was it hot. I was puffing away. I had a salad when I got in. and sat and had a sleep for hour.

Some one moved into the flat near me. it has been empty for 18 months belong to a friend of mine she died and the flat was empty for a while.
No one knew someone had brought it. the estate manager said it is private and she is not allowed to tell people. ( how sad is that ) the first we all knew was the remvoal van and furniture..

For all we knew it was still empty and not sold how can you let things like that happen ? they could be two strangers for all we knew.? so I have not met them yet.

we are suppose to get storms this afternoon. they have not come yet. so I expect it will happen towards night time.

hope everyone is keeping cool.

Just back from the gym, boy was it hot !!!
Sun shining but storms forecast for later so off to put the sheets on to wash and hopefully get dry.

We have got a BIG party with a band and all sorts of games BBQ and Drinks all round.

Morning it is very humid so I expect we will get storms today. I know we need rain now
. a church in Brighton for Pentecost sang for rain yesterday. looks like they may have their wish.

I am going to collect my specs this morning if it doesnt rain heavy, I have a walk to the bus stop , and coming back I have a longer walk.
