Can someone nip round to Buck House and make sure HM is well prepared for today. Make sure she takes along a packed lunch etc as it's going to be a long haul up the Thames.

I noticed on another Thread people are being RRd for daring to mention products like KY. Why ? I use KY Liquid as a lubricant on my Yacht and my cars. It's a great product. How easily things slip into place when coated with KY Liquid. It's waterproof and last for ages. I also use Peroleum Jelly in the same places or Vasaline is a great stand-by. What's all the fuss about?

My only problem with these products is I can't buy them in H*lfords or any other Car Gear Shop.........so hey ho......big looks at me in the Chemist Shop when I ask for a Bulk Buy ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Good to see Stephen putting his toes in the door again, I know everyone has missed his jolly banter.
Bit damp here this morning. Shame as today is the big one for many of the Jubilee celebrations. Just watching about the boat pageant on TV
Not been up to much. My daughter is still poorly, Dr diagnosed gastro enteritus.
I finished the first blanket for the second grandchild. And have been making little hats again.
Well we shouldn't need to water the garden today, just the tomatoes in the greenhouse

I am late as I did a few jobs before I came on. I did the washing to save me doing it on Monday.
I hope the weather stay fine for the Queens celebrations. they closed the roads and it will be a nightmare to try and get though parts of London, I must say I am worried about the ambulances getting trhough to emergencies.I am wondering if they have made arrangements for them and the Police cars.

It is nice to think people will now have a few days to celebrate and enjoy themsleves., we did that alot during the war and we seem to have got very dull people do not mix like they use to. as my gran use to say the door is always open. but f course you cannot do that these days. you would get squarters of lose all your stuff. sad how things have changed not for the good either in my mind. but for the worse.

I have just finished putting my bunting out in the front garden....balloons & Flags all looks lovely and patriotic.

So big Party tomorrow in my neighbours house ....getting excited as 5 of my grand children will be altogether , that does not happen very often. :-)


We have games & races plenty of grub & party drinks !! :-D

Back from the gym again. It doesn't get any easier, I must say.
Close and humid here this morning. Must water the tomatoes soon or they will flag from lack of water.
Not sure what else we are doing today.
Hope all goes well for Cath, she has a lot to do on her week away. Enjoy your Anniversary and congratulations. It's ours at the end of the month

Rita, if I caught a feral cat in a trap I would have to put it down, rather than releasing it in the wild to breed more ferals. Sorry if that upsets anybody, but we dont want to be overrun by ferals, do we?

Morning the sun is out at the moment. It will be a shame if Saturday we had rain like they say when so many people are having BBQ and parties for the Jubilee celerbations. so lets hopew the weather men made a mistake.

I have been watching film on Preview and have noticed they have so many pleads. I say begging , because you get four or five somtimes all in a row. 50p a week helps these children. £2 a month helps these children have food or get injections or have medical treatment . only 50 pence a week to adopt a child. then you get children in need. Save the children chairty. then we get sanutary for Donkeys and Ponys and the RSPCA It must costs these charities an awful lot of money to advertise like this
or do they get it free ?
dont get me wrong I give to certain charities but there is no way I would be able to afford giving to all these.

The RSPCA ask for a donation I give to these, The RNL, The Salvation Army. and Hospice . Cancer Reseach. and Help the Hero's and the Helicopter people.

The RSPCA now I am doubltful about that, the reason being my son found a little Kitten in his garden ( he has two old cats ) he fed the Kitten and printed some notices out and stuck them on trees and put through letter boxes.his wife and family took a lot of trouble doing this. He had phoned the RSPCA and asked them if they could take the cat in ? they were not interested. but by putting notices in the doors he found someone who the cat belong too and it had wandered quiet a distance.

Now he had a Feral cat in his garden that gets into the house via his cat flap. and it spits at you. his other cats run from it. so once again he phoned and asked for help again they are not interested. so he has brought a cat trap he hopes to catch it and take it out into the country side .

The sun is shining, but it looks wet for the Jubilee, what a shame.

On the tv the soldiers are being put through their paces, and very smart they look too. Makes you proud. :-)

Good evening all.

Sleep? What is sleep? I start work at 8am, so am up at 5.45 at the latest.

Got have me daily ablutions, then put on the slap [just because I dont see a soul going to work does not mean that I need not make myself look booootiful, lol] then try and brush my hair into shape. How does my hair get so tangled just laying in bed?

I am in tomorrow, off Saturday, in Sunday and then off Monday and Tuesday, so not too bad I suppose.
