A Wee Chuckle for the day
Social Security
A retired gentleman went to the social security office to apply for Social Security.
The woman behind the counter asked him for his driver's license to verify his age.
He looked in his pockets and realized he had left his wallet at home. He told the woman that he was very sorry but he seemed to have left his wallet at home. "I will have to go home and come back later."
The woman says, "Unbutton your shirt."
So he opens his shirt revealing curly silver hair.
She says, "That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me" and she processed his Social Security application.
When he gets home, the man excitedly tells his wife about his experience at the social security office.
She says, "You should have dropped your pants. You might have got disability allowance too."

A Wee Chuckle for the day
Glad to be drunk
A completely inebriated man was stumbling down the street with one foot on the kerb and one foot in the gutter.
A cop pulled up and said, "I've got to take you in, pal. You're obviously drunk."
Our wasted friend asked, "Officer, are ya absolutely sure I'm drunk?"
"Yeah, buddy, I'm sure," said the copper. "Let's go."
Breathing a sigh of relief, the wino said, "Thank goodness, I thought I was crippled."

I have had a problem of getting onto Friendly this morning after waiting for 6 minutes and still had along way to go I gave up. a few days ago I had to sign in everytime I logged onto GR site.
It is not a good day today. my blood pressure has been up. so I have had to do nothing but sit quietly with my eyes shut. I think it has passed now.? to day my husband would have been 85 years old. I wish he was still here .but he died when he was just 61 of a sudden heart attack never been ill in his life. RIP John.
After waiting 3 years 14 weeks to have an alarm system moved outside my kitchen it is going to be moved tomorrow ? well it is suppose to be ? I will beleive it when it is.. when it goes off in the night it is like a police siren and lights flash and you here shouting from the call system. which if you are in a deep sleep. makes you jump up and run not knowing if it is a fire alarm going off or call for an Ambulance.? you cannot beleive the noise it throws out into my little flat.even if all doors are shut it makes no difference.
My son has gone back to work after his eye operation. he is gradually begining to see much better. a few more weeks and he should be able too.

A Wee Chuckle for the day.
(You'll need to read it carefully to get the punch line)
One dark night a man was walking down the street and heard a thumping noise behind him . Looking behind him he saw a coffin following him, upright.
He was a bit nervous and began walking a little bit faster. The coffin continued, "thumpety thump, thumpety thump".
He began running and the coffin kept up and began opening and closing, ""thumpety thump, thumpety thump clap, "thumpety thump, thumpety thump clap".
Terrified he ran to his front door, and went inside, slamming the door and locking it.
The coffin continued, "thumpety thump, thumpety thump - CRASH" it came right through the door,
He ran up the stairs, and right behind him, "thumpety thump, thumpety thump clap, "thumpety thump, thumpety thump clap".
He rushed into the bathroom and slammed the door, but the coffin broke through the door - "thumpety thump, thumpety thump crash".
Terrified the man grabbed the first thing he could......, a bottle of Benylin......... and threw it ................ and the coffin stopped!

Morning All !
I'm still reeling from the news of my friends death. He was ill and I knew this was to be expected but the end came suddenly. He had been sitting in his chair watching TV. His wife was out for a couple of hours. Came back and found him dead. William was a friend to all. Helped and never hindered anyone. I'll miss his banter and humour.
I had a good wee trip on my yacht. All alone with only nature as company. The anchorage I go to is in a very remote spot......known only to a very few... Crystal clear water, surrounded by the mountains, a waterfall cascading into the sea. Otters, Herons, Seals , Sea Eagles , Deer and Wild Goats. What a selection of wildlife to sit and watch in the evening. Heaven :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
And today it's back to earth with a bump :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Glorious morning though. Sunshine and clear sky..
Have good day ya all !
Keep well , keep safe , keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Couple of days away solitary sailing, away to my own little piece of heaven.............. Tir-Nan-Og......that's what I call it anyway.
Home to bad news.
A very dear friend has lost his fight for life. William died peacefully last night at his home. A young 62 year old. I had known him from our youth.
RIP William.

I am not going to say GOOD MORNING because you rember the films where the goodies hide under the waterfall in a cave. well I think I am under a waterfall at this minute? To say it is raining. ? would be a lie I think someone is doing the cleaning up above and they are tipping the water out over head. when will it all end.? how can we get so much rain ? This will kill the games if it carries on like this.
Maddie I have all Catherine Cookson dvd's have collected them for years but I always watch the ones on chanel 12 when they come on. the onl;y thing I do wish is that Tilly Trotter one they would bring out to next two to that, Tilly Trotter weds and Tilly Trotter Widow. you can get the books but not the dvds

Rita, I dont know if you are a Catherine Cookson fan, but Yesterday on channel 12 usually do a mini series on Sunday.
The Black Velvet Gown was on today, last week it was The Wingless Bird. I think they do them most Sundays.
The stories are a bit obvious, but it lets you escape for a couple of hours.
By the way, we have just had a punnet of strawberries from WR, 2 for £4, but we kept them for ourselves. One today, one tomorrow. Lovely with a nice drop of cream. lol
Good night all. <3

well at least you have done all your little jobs. I am going mad with all this football. I dont mind watching it now and again but you have BBC1 and BBC2 all sports programes football motor racing and tennis and then they put films on that have been repeated so often the sound goes on them.
I am watching more and more DVDs. some of my older ones that I have not seen for years.

You know me, I would only get bored if I was not occupied, I am not very good at relaxing at all. I get figetty.
Take care all. :-)
