Stands and blushes, I am very pleased to be called a flower. :-D

Ooooh Shelly, I have a posh hat you can wear for your wedding. One previous wedding [daughter] never worn again, lol.

I am sitting in the living room with OH. son and his ladylove screaming their rotten heads off. I am frazzled.

Gonna dig up some dead people now with any luck.

Doesnt sound too macabre does it. pmsl

Afternoon all

Very funny Stephen, don't let Mrs Stephen read that she'll have your guts for garters. Now there's a saying I've not heard said in a long time, my dad used to say it. lol

Whens the wedding Shelly, hope the weather gets better. I'm sure you'll be the best dressed guest there.

Next door to me are having building work done, what a racket, drilling, banging and crashing, their kitchen is joined on to my lounge, I can't hear the tv so I'm on the pooter in the dining room eating my lunch, i'm off to work in an hour

talk later <3

Morning all.

It's not really a good morning, it's stotting down and windy. Don't know if it's cold or not because I'm not brave enough to go out in it yet. I thought this rain was all over the country but it can't be if Maddie doesn't have it down there.

A good 'chuckle' this morning, Stephen, LOL :-D :-D

Who's getting married, Shelly?

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Marriage quotes

Marriage is not a word. It is a sentence--a life sentence.

Marriage is very much like a violin; after the sweet music is over, the strings are attached.

Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore, marriage is an institution for the blind.

Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's Degree and the woman gets her Masters.

Marriage is a thing which puts a ring on a woman's finger and two under the man's eyes.

Marriage certificate is just another word for a work permit.

Marriage is not just a having a wife, but also worries inherited forever.

Marriage requires a man to prepare 4 types of "rings":
* The Engagement Ring
* The Wedding Ring
* The Suffe-Ring
* The Endu-Ring

Evening everyone

I've been doing extra hours at work, one of the girls left so I did some of her shifts untill they get someone else.

Sorry to read about your friend, Stephen

Rita I read through the instruction booklet for my washing machine again, it tells you what to do if there's a power cut and you want to empty the water out. I would have to pull the machine out and undo the hose and drain the water into a bucket. Nothing about stopping the machine once it's started.

Talking of flowers my foxgloves look lovely, i'll have to take a photo and put it on my avitar

~~~~~~ to all
Morning all.
It's sunny again today, hope it lasts because I'll be out most of the day.
The end of a war is always such a relief for everyone especially families of servicemen and women.
I liked your 'funny' today, Stephen. :-)
Nice to see you, Jean, haven't seen you on here for a while.
MotownGal Report 14 Jun 2012 07:10
Goood morning all.
Hello Stephen, my boy was born and the next day war was declared, so very poignant for us too. So very sad, all that loss of life. Some Mothers' son.
Bit brighter again today, the sun is glinting on the Wheel in the far distance.
Have a good day each.
:-)
