Snow on the mountains...looks beautiful, but don't want to climb it ..Stevey would love it.he would be in heaven just sitting with the Eskimos . :-D

In Hotel now so just looking at all my mails !! oh why do folk want to contact one when one is on holiday ..LOL Ugh !!

Hazel ...I'm so sorry to read your not getting much help ....but I'm sure things will turn better for you soon.


Now although its snow on the mountains its 69 degrees here ,so very pleasant .

Well Folks
I didn't manage the gym this morning, hubby said he ached too much. Did do all the washing and got it dry, just need to iron it all now. Got some gardening done too, but need to go to a garden centre tomorrow and get some plants and some tomorite for the tomatoes now growing in the greenhouse.
Went to weight watchers and I have lost one and a half pounds so over a stone now. Well pleased especially as I was away last week.
Will do some more crochet tonight.

Morning. to all my Friends

The sun is out after a long night of heavy rain but the plants outside are all looking nice and fresh.
I have just taken my washing into the Laundryroom first lot, is now in the machine. I have two lots this morning as I changed the beding.

I think I know now where the saying goes.? you make your bed and lay on it.
you need to lay on it once you have managed to get the old Duvet cover off and the clean one on. I was shaking an needed to lay on it. lol

Hazel my list gets added to during the week. and when I think I have got most jobs done more follow.. I managed to do all jobs yesterday but One. ?but today my list starts again. never mind it will get done eventually.

Linda I have been to many places in Italy. North and South. I think I like Northern Italy most. maybe it was because we went to a family hotel and had top class service. we didnt get that in the South. but then they had a strike on. refuse collection one would you beleive ? everywhere we went was crowded and we kept getting told not to take jewlery out with us.(wearing it I mean .) One of our party had a gold watch and a necklace snatched from her.someone else had her bag taken.

But some of the views were lovely we overlooked Sorrento.in a converted abbey in the middle of a lemon and Olive orchard and it was owned by a family. they all worked there. and nicer people you could not find..

Hi all

Sun has just come out so hoping to put my towels out and get them dry.

Feeling very low today. I hate feeling like this. Just all whats been going on with my money its down to. No ggod going to see doctor just dont want to know. Plus main doctor i need to see dont get back until end of week. Just hope he does the letter for me for my appeal.

I was over looking after Arron and Caitlin at the weekend. Arron still not doing much i am getting worried about him. Had a word with his mum few months ago, telling her she needs to get help for him. My son said she wont listen to him. And loks like twins are going down same way. They 8mts and just lay there. When they mum is out my son puts them on the floor to try and get them doing things. Again something else t worry about.

Linda glad your daughter could have time with you with your grandson.

Rita i have a list of todo's as well it gets longer and longer everyday :-0

Cath hope your mother in law is happy in the home. Nice that you had some time with a friend.

Thank you Cath my daughter seems Ok her partner is off today and returns to work tomorrow so we will see how she gets on , on her own again.
Glad your mil is settled and hope she will be happy there, much easier for you to get to I imagine and so much safer for her than being on her own in Ireland too.
I will be thinking of you today Stephen as you say goodbye to your friend.
More washing going round soon be ready to hang out , with the load I did yesterday. Got the first wash dry, now I need to tackle the ironing.
It rained heavily overnight as the garden is still dripping!! But forecast looks promising.
Rita it was Italy we went to near Pisa. Beautiful area we went to Florence, Pisa and Voltarra. And relaxed round the pool too. The complex has 5 appartments, but we were the only ones there so it was like being on a private estate.
Off to the gym this morning, then weight watchers tonight. I'll let you know how I get on.

I have been back a few days but too busy to think about getting laptop out.
Mother in law is now in a nursing home in Gosport but not the one she was due to go in -long story- she seems to have settled in well and is quite relaxed about it all. Had a lovely few days with friends and now its time to get back to reality, ie work etc.
Stephen sorry about your friend. It must have been a shock for his wife.
Pauline glad you're back and Linda hope your daughter is keeping well.

I am pleased you had a good break Linda. you must have been lucky witj your weather. was it Italy you went too ? I have forgotten now.?
It has been warm here not much sun no rain so I suppose we must be pleased about that.

I had one of those days when I had written out a list of little jobs I would like to do today. The hardest job was changing the bed. I do hate taking the duvet cover off and replacing it. I had to have a lay down for a while after I had done that.. My heart felt like a drum majors melody playing.

so now tomorrow I will have sheets pillow cases and a duvet cover to wash as well as my clothes and towels.
I also managed to vacume the front room and the bedroom.
I cooked a chicken for my dinner and did roast to go with it. so I have dinner for at least three days.

I sat and read a little of my book before I watched a film. then had tea.l so my day has been one of those when nothing interesting happened.

but it still made me tired.

I hope everyone had a better day than I did.

Afternoon everyone
Well I am back from my travels and it was a lovely restful break for all of us, thankfully.
Our daughter was able to come and had a relatively peaceful time to recooperate.
The baby is a joy, he was so good on the flight and at most other times though he did have his mum up a couple of times in the early hours and they went for a walk seeeing a wild boar on one early morning trek !!
The weather was great, sunny, some gusty winds when down by the pool, but hot for the later half of the week. A delayed flight home yesterday.... because of heavy winds in London on the incoming flight.

Have been to the Heritage Day at Sandhurst Royal Accademy today. It was a nice time too. The weather lasted for us and we ate a tasty curry prepared by the Ghurkas.
I got one wash dry while we were out and have another spinning round now.

Sorry to read about your friend Stephen. Hope it goes OK tomorrow.

My friends body is being received into the Church this afternoon in preparation for his funeral tomorrow. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

I have started planning a Ceilidh night in celebration of his life. It will be a Fundraising evening to raise funds for a local Charity he did work for. A fitting tribute to one who cared so much for others. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

i have a blister on my fumb been painting son new bedroom this evening as we are haveing a chaing around cos the other son has now moved out and has a place of his own with girl friend and baby

now this meens litte man can have a bed room of his own so soon be moveing out of his mums room
wounder how he will like that bless him
