Stevey that FLY has disappeared now ..LOL but has to wear sun glasses all the time .I told him he's getting old !! so he said so are you then ...hmm... that put me in my place ..LOL

Stevey I got a holiday in UK next weekend in Cornwall at least its NO FLYING>

Just got back from visiting my Dad bless him he is 97 yrs and I suggested he use a zimmer frame to help him walk ....my goodness he nearly bit my head off !! LOL he's so vain about anyone seeing him with any sort of aid.
So you have to let them be....

Hi all

Marilyn, I still not heard about appeal when i phone just say its being looked at. have sent a letter to the people who do the medicals. To top manager, my friend Natalie help me with it last night. But only ca email it to them, so that went off today. Cant see them getting back to me but you never know. Just wanted the top lot knowing whats going on.

Its very warm out but raining, Just want a bit of sun like everyone :-(

I only have holidays here. Never been oversea and never wanted to.I am not one to sit on beach or in the sun to long. These sun hols are good, Dont know where going this time.As long as its dry i dont care.

Yvonne i love the Lake District havent been for years tho. I know someone who lives there well use to know them.

We had a lovely holiday last year in the Lake District and the weather was good all week, I s'pose people go abroad cos our weather can be a bit iffy

Why not holiday in GB for a wee while.

My daughter and her family have gone to the Island of Islay and are having a great time. They usually go abroad. Enjoying it so much they are thinking of going again later in the summer.

Stevey....Pete had what he called a black fly in his eye !! it started off as lines on Sunday....but at least he's seen the Eye specialist , so although he's worried, he's not so worried ..LOL

Oh well I think with me fainting on Sunday, its must be to do with all this travelling I think Linda is right , I think we will ground ourselves for a while.

Its still raining cats & dogs.. :-S

Got to see my Dad today he's not very well now, he's got arthritis in his legs and in pain awaiting a Cortisone injection on Friday.Oh its all doom & gloom at the moment.....

Petes eye problem........I take it he has 'Floaters'......they are a blo****y nuisance.

I have them in my left eye. Happened suddenly a couple of months ago. They have settled down a bit now but are still there but not as bad.

Thankm you Shelly and Yvonne we had a good weekend, the weather wasn't as good as the day we married though !!
Miserable here all day and sooooo cold.
Just back from WW I lost a pound this week, yippee and that was with 2 meals out and son here too. Good.

Hope it's brighter tomorrow we can always live in hope. Rita might be getting blown away on the south coast, so hope she is somewhere sheltered.

Marilyn Oh what a Sunday you had, But glad all ended up being okish. Hope you get over your jet lag soon.

Well i was woken up by child upstair running and shouting at 6 again this morning have had it up to about 12 last night as wel, i have this most days and nightsl,When i banged up does it even more. Then he jumped so hard it knocked a picture off my wall, which broke. I shouted up, but wouldnt have heard me. I as so cross. I phoned housing officer and she said she will have a word with them again. Yes i have conplained 8 times about this over the last year.I know kids have to play but this is getting out of hand.

Raining and cold here this morning :-(

Morning All.

I'm feeling a bit normal today.

Yesterday was a bit out of the ordinary for me......Pete woke up with funny lines in his eye,so we put it down to the air travel, it worstend during the morning he rang the Eye Hospital,and told them about his lines in his eye, then said that his two brothers had detached retina's they immediately said can you get her to see the doctor fairly swiftly before 1pm as we close,
So I was still in my PJ's as I had not long got up due to jet lag !! Pete said quick get dressed we are going up the hospital right now.....I think he panicked LOL
When we got there he was seen to right away, I went into the room with him to see the doctor examining him .......when all of a sudden I could feel I was going to black out and needed some air as it was very stuffy in there....and I did faint ..LOL the next thing I remember I was laying on a bed with the same doctor taking my pulse !! and two nurses attending to me .
Now the reason I blacked out was I was rushed ...LOL so I told Pete I cant be rushed ever again, well he said I needed you to drive me.
Anyway his eyes were OK ,doctor said it was a jelly like substance that breaks away as one gets older......but should flashing of light ever appear then come back again.

So that was my Sunday.........they have informed my doctor about me so I'll expect to have a call from him soon :-(

Today its RAINING.........ughh.

Stevey.... did you attend the the Arm Forces in Scotland on Saturday ,? We went on Plymouth Hoe and it was fabulous thousands of people celebrating our troops.
My grandson was there in his cadet army uniform representing his school , and loving every bit of it ....he told me ....grandma I really do want to be a marine ! LOL.
Hmm we will wait and see.. :-D

Hope all my friendlies are well as can be expected, I just wish this weather could change.

I wonder if we are going to get a couple of warm sunny weeks at all this summer. It would be so nice to go to sleep at night knowing that when you wake it will be lovely outside.
Not working today so will take mother out to do her bits and pieces then tackle the ironing basket, I'm a glutton for punishment.

One of them turned to me and said 'It's WALES you idiot!'
