We have had Fog non stop for about 6days now but with it RAIN RAIN RAIN ....I seem to get Fog as I'm quite near the sea.....I hate it it looks more like December.

Yesterday was probrably the best day yet ! but still not good for July. :-S

Huia Hows Phil these days ? does he still recognize you ? Its so sad for you being alone ....oh how I often think of when we get old what will it be like .. :-S
We had a program last night on the TV documentary called when your over 65yrs, it stared with some of our elderly TV stars living with older folk in their houses , just so that they could see life in another light .....it was heart breaking !! one lady so worn out with her bedridden hubby that the TV star encourage her husband to go into RESPITE for her to have a rest as he refused to go before ....I wont tell you any more as its so depressing :-(

Well as I speak the SUN is coming OUT !!!!!! :-D

I have been completely fogged in all day today. I dont remember it being like that before. The fog usually lifts mid to late morning. Not today though, although it did clear at 5 p.m. at Auckland airport. I couldnt see more that half a kilometre, if that. I hope it is better tomorrow or it will be a slow drive to my sister's place. It normally takes 1 and a quarter hours to get there.

Its a bit more like July today , but the forecast for the next few days is not good ,MORE rain. :-(

Going to my granddaughters concert tonight , so will be looking forward to that. and she will be looking out for me as she has to sing a song with her friend and I had to hear it All this week on the phone ...LOL

We go to Cyprus in January have done for 25yrs....but it has got so expensive that we are thinking of going to Spain in January......but its the weather :-S not too good in January is it ?

I think its the Canary Isles we really ought to be looking at ... if the price is right ! ;-)

Yes was there a few weeks ago and George and Sarah came out for a couple of week, guess who got sunburn. falling asleep after a few beers...LOL.

I haven't seen much of him since they got back, but he did say he was thinking of coming back on here....??? cant tell with him..LOL.

:-D...Now I got a feeling that next time I go doctors he'll put me on Statins Ughh.although my cholesterol has always been fairly low,I think with being Diabetic he said it would go UP !!

I have been Gardening instead of Window shopping I kinda changed my mind LOL
at least all the weeds are easy to pull with the ground being so wet.
Also did a load of Ironing that was staring me in the face.....so quite pleaded with myself today , I even got Indian meal takeaway tonight without COOKING !!! .

So looking foreword to that.....

How the heck did I manage when I was at work, I often ask myself.

I can't get into my E.Mails yet, Virgin are doing major works on the network apparantly, well thats their excuse anyway. Much like this site, when we have problems.

Where has Rita gone for her holiday? I don't seem to be able to find out when I look for it.

Shelly, take the door key away from the boys, thats one way of stopping the little bu**ers scaring the pants off you. That way you will avoid the boy pong that youngsters make.
When our son came back and stayed with us, after his separtion, I would go in his bedroom in the morning, only to open the window, and let the stink out. I am not saying he's dirty, he showers every day, but seems to sweat buckets over night.

Good to see you home Marilyn.. I suppose the next holiday abroad will be back to the USA for thanks giving again.
It seems to me, that every time you go abroad, something happens to either one of you, healthwise. So stay at home for a few months babe, and enjoy our lovely british summer months. ;-)

Yvonne, you should be here in Kent today. It's sweltering hot, the humidity is awful, real head ache weather.

We are both fine. Had to go see the doctor yesterday about my blood test result.
Thank goodness my cholesterol has now come down from 7.1 to 3.1,the tablets have done their job.
Back for another blood test in six months time, hopefully then she will lower the dose for me.

Pauline how lucky you are to have had SUN yesterday.....Pete was thinking of building a boat ......I have never seen so much rain in all my life and they lel me its been like this for weeks.

sons must of finnish work befor the trains started
both must be on the same shifs as there is two of them crashed out on my sofas

going to kill them as thay no i dont like them sleeping on sofa
i tell them if thay must come back here thay have to get a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor and do thay no thay nether do

That was strange................. while I was typing I lost my Internet connection, then a few seconds later it came back up with 2 tabs open - one on the Orange home page and one on the Firefox home page. The only page I'd had open when it went off was this one. :-S :-S

Jean, I agree with you about the horses - not that I know anything about them - I think most animals would want to shelter from heavy rain.

Marilyn, you're going to have to stop jetting around the world for a while, your body needs a break from jet lag.

We've got rain again today; we had lovely warm sunshine all day yesterday. I made the most of it while I had the chance.

Marilyn, I wouldn't ever ride any of my horses in heavy rain, they prefered
to shelter from it, but maybe your neighbour felt her horse needed exercise, though I dont think it would have been too happy, and as you say your neighbour must have been drenched.

Hope Rita is having a good holiday, although the weather hasn't been very kind, at least she is having a break, and hopefully a rest.

No Jean I was feeling OK but very Jet lagged and in that Eye Consulting room there was no windows opened so I need air.....next thing I was a gonna LOL

I did think about you this afternoon,as my neighbour went out on her horse in this terrible weather....what was she thinking ..LOL she must have been drenched, not sure if any horse wants one on a saddle in the rain .

Just had a nice piece of salmon with a lemon sauce & new potato's with garden peas.
Finished it off with a Crunchie Bar Ice Cream ....yum yum yum...naughty but nice .

Just finishing off the wine..... its .good for you ...
