An old man walks into a bar, sits down, and starts crying.

The bartender asks, “What’s wrong?”

The old man looks at the bartender through teary eyes and between sobs says,
“I married a beautiful woman two days ago. She’s a natural blonde, twenty-five, intelligent, a marvelous cook, a meticulous housekeeper,
Extremely sensitive to my wants and needs, very giving, my best friend, and intensely passionate in bed.”

The bartender stares at the old man for a brief moment and says, “But that sounds great! You have what every man wants in a woman, so why are crying?”

The old man looks at the bartender and says, “I can’t remember where I live!”

Morning All !

There is this very wet stuff falling from the sky again....... :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P

Jean.....Nice to hear you are on the road again. What is the horses name ?
Like you I love to escape now and again and get my tent up beside the river in a quiet spot. I've been doing that since I was just a lad of 12 and I can't see me stopping.

Was there a game of Tennis on somewhere at the weekend ? I have this notion that it was a fairly important game. Did I miss something ? ROFL

Poor Andy.....success will come at some point, I'm sure.

Heading for Glasgow early this morning. A new kitchen being delivered to a property I'm helping to develop for a friend. Hope they are on time with the delivery 8am-10am is the time slot.

Where are all the absconders ?

Have a good day ya all !

Keep we;; , keep safe , keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hello everyone, hope you had a peaceful weekend.
Just coming light here, looks like we will have a dry day but not much sun.

Rita, glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday.

Went out for a couple of hours yesterday, took my vardo on the roads to try out my new horse, it was so good to be out again, and the weather was great so enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Breakfast anyone?
Hot rolls with bacon, eggs, sausage, take your pick.
Tea or coffee.

Marilyn, how are you, will most likely spend most weekends on the roads now I have another horse for my vardo, and of course weather permiting,

Hope everyone has a good day, take care and stay safe.
Jean xx :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Morning all my friends

It is dry but we have a cloudy sky. but it is warm so we must tick that box.
I had my shower later this morning. and washed my hair seemed strange having used a walk in shower. I just spoke to my youngest son and told him I had to cook my own breakfast ths morning, and make my own bed., I dont like that. lol and had to wash up.
That is the trouble with holidays they spoil you;.

Stephen my sister when I mentioned the nudist camp said she was not going if it was old men. but would think about it if they were young as iff?

Glad to see you poped onto the thread Foggy, hope your keeping well ?

I am going to see what I need to do now in answering mail I had over the holidays.
I have a large amount of washing todo tomorrow. where did it all come from.?

My daughter and husband Steve are in Weymouth Dorset. I hope they are all right I expect a phone call later this morning.

shame we have beautiful countryside and lovely seaside towns it is the weather that spoils it for many people. I love holidaying in Britian

Morning Stephen and everyone else
Welcome back Rita. Sounds like you had a good time. Nice that your sister looks after you too.
Guess I don't need to tell what the weather is like today? Same as yesterday and most of the past year and it will be the same tomorrow too, no doubt.
Went to the village yesterday as it was the carnival. The actual parade passed by in relative dryness, but several cloudbursts later, we gave up and walked back home before we looked like 2 drowned rats. Funny how its not so interesting when your own children aren't involved. But we were glad we went down and saw all the floats and gave to the local charities too.
Friends came to dinner last night, but left earlyish as the husband works at Heathrow and had to be up before 5:00 this morning.
Hopefully the washing is dry enough this morning for me to iron it, but I hate drying indoors at this time of year.

Have a lovely Sunday evryone

Rita Report 7 Jul 2012 20:35

Hi
I have not had time to read anything on here yet. I got back at 4 today. and have been busy unpacking and sorting things out to wash.

We had a lovely time the hotel was great good food one downside was the plumbing wasnt working so good. getting hot water was a problem but there were 90 people in the hotel for five days ot including myself and my sister. we had a carvery meal everynight. no one could complain at the food and the service mainly Polish. but there worked the socks off nothing was too much trouble for them. we had a coach of people from Wales arrive from Pontiyprid what a laugh we had dancing in the evening and played Bingo and had Quizes.
The weather was so hot all through the week. I look like a clown, as I dont go brown so I have a bright red face and arms and neck.
we went into Brighton and Hastings and to the four harbours.
yesterday they had a common market and the stalls were from all over the world. selling their produce. big parade this afternoon.we brought some little Italian cakes and my sister spoke to the stall holder in Italian he was so delgihted. he told us he was born in Venice.

I went to a Prom concert with my sister on Sunday. waved my little union jack and sang all the prom songs.. really enjoyed that.

I was a bit tired of the walking after a while. I am getting old.
but I did a lot of walking.
I dont like Victoria Station first time I have been there. no seats other than on the platform and long walks dragging your cases. why dont they have porters in these morden stations.?

It is the same with Waterloo no seat for older people to sit or people using Walking sticks.

My sister worried about me so she put her case in the store room and brought me all the way home on the train. she carried my case and got me a taxi to bring me home. then had to go back on the train to collect her case and get the subway to Golders Green and a cab from there. bless her. I dont know what I would do without her.,
I said we could have a holiday without packing our suit cases. one at a Nudest Camp. lol.
nice to be back hope everyone is well.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

During a dinner party, the hosts’ two little children entered the dinning room totally nude and walked slowly around the table.

The parents were so embarrassed that they pretended nothing was happening and kept he conversation going.

The guests cooperated and also continued as if nothing extraordinary was happening.

After going all the way around the room, the children left, and there was a moment of silence at the table, during which one child was heard to say..................,

“You see, it is vanishing cream!”

Marilyn, Sorry to read of your friends death. Perhaps it was a blessing if he had been suffering. Either way it always hurts those left behind.

Hope our Marilyn is OK as the SW seems to have taken a battering yesterday. It rained heavily here overnight but seems dry so far.
Off to M&S this morning need a fitting for my boulder holders, my current ones seem too big and not doing much in the way of support. No one available yesterday evening after Murray had won his match. It was quiet though and the ladies working hadn't realised why !!! Did manage to get a couple of tops to go with skirts I already have. So a good start.

Hope everyone has a better day today

Morning everyone
Sorry I didn't check in yesterday but we stayed overnight with daughter so I could babysit grandson while hubby went with her to hosp for her MRI about the pancreatitis. Hopefully it will show she has recovered and with adjustment to her diet that she will be OK.
We went to Basildon Park afterwards an NT property. That was where she first became ill only 5 weeks ago !!!

Well we have had enough of Englands summer. More rain overnight here. So have decided to do a Marilyn and have booked a cruise out of Venice so we can seee some more sun.

Hope everyone is well and that Rita has enjoyed her holiday and didn't get too wet.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Sister Mary burst into the office of the principal of Our Lady
of Perpetual Motion parochial school in an advanced state of
agitation. "Father!" she cried, "just WAIT until you hear this!"

The priest led the sister to a chair, and said, " Now just calm
down and tell me what has you so excited?"

"Well, father" the nun began, "I was just walking down the hall to the chapel and I heard some of the older boys wagering money!"

"A serious infraction, indeed!" said the priest.

"But that's not what has me so excited, father" replied the nun,
"it was WHAT they were wagering ON!
They had wagered on a contest to see who could urinate the highest on the wall!!"

"What an incredible wager!" exclaimed the priest, "What did you do?"

"Well, I hit the CEILING, father."

"How much did you win?"
