I have had a lovely few hours out on the roads, the countryside looked great in the sunshine.

Morning Grey day and looks like it maybe a rotten old day with rain. it isnt cold but where is that SUN ?

I think it is these Olympic games that is doing all this. we have strikes for more money because they will be driving more people around . there are roads with cracks. so roads close. the peope paid to make sure people are safe at the games failing. the trains breaking down. the workers are having to go earlier to their jobs or stay home and work., we even had a problem with the tickets being sold.
Of course the RAIN constantly falling. I dread the Games what will happen next ? I have to admit I will be pleased to see the back of them. I think Gremlins are at work.

Stephen Camping ? your taking a chance or have you had a words with him above and got the go-ahead.?

To all my friends have a lovely weekend. hope the sun comes out for you all.

Hi everyone I am still about. feeling better than I did. I have had no end of trouble with this site. really it went mad when I used it last. things jumped the words vanished then I could not get the GR icon moving it stayed still.
I tried everything.once again I have lost the little pictures that appear with the wheel when you log on. even the wheel keeps rolling and I have to click on GR to stop it so I can get through. so if you dont hear from me your know why GR once again. I sat here siniging keep those wheels a rolling rolling a backing for a western.
there is a word I would like to use for this site at the moment. it begining with the letter S.

I have spent the morning trying to phone my doctors, I am due for a blood test for my warfarin. 14 times and get the engaged signal. or press 5 for a call back. I did that, before and when the bill came in found I had press the 5 .- 23 times. and guess who pays. I will try after lunch and see what happends.
Jean you have named your horse after one of my Great Granddaughters Megan. she is on Face book at the moment her Mum put some photos of her on it and she was in a play she appears in that as well.
It is surprisng how many of my friends and family appear on FB.

My friend is going to buy me some fish and chips for my dinner today. I am looking forward to that.

New battery arrived yesterday so I'm back to catch up on the news.

Stephen, I have still not discovered any more about William Henry Marsh and have put him on the backburner for now.

We have decided to get another greyhound to keep Gypsy company and are waiting to hear back from the sanctuary. Hoping for a younger bitch but would consider a dog. Watch this space .

The sun has come out so better get the washing on the line quickly before it disappears.

A lawyer died and arrived at the pearly gates.

To his dismay, there were thousands of people ahead of him in line to see St. Peter.

To his surprise, St. Peter left his desk at the gate and came down the long line to where the lawyer was, and greeted him warmly.

Then St. Peter and one of his assistants took the lawyer by the hands and guided him up to the front of the line, and into a comfortable chair by his desk.

The lawyer said, "I don't mind all this attention, but what makes me so special?"

St. Peter replied, "Well, I've added up all the hours for which you billed your clients, and by my calculation you must be about 193 years old!"

Well I am rather concerned about Rita, it does sound serious as I know Rita would have tried to get on line to talk to us.........Pity none of us has her phone number.
At least she has good neighbours and family that do stay in contact with her ,so she'll be looked after ...poor dear. :-(

Had a brilliant time in Spain, stayed at the old boys, brilliant got sun burnt, got piddled in his local bar :-D :-D :-D :-D got nagged at by Sarah....fell in the pool fully clothed...had a brilliant time :-D :-D :-D :-D

Good job its only for a couple of weeks.maybe best to get 2 weeks shopping in as long as its not perishable goods, you'll have to have frozen veg & fruit :-S

alll my work is finnish for now
so im now board board board

and the olmpicis is going to get on my neaves
we had to get a speshical parking permit so we can still park but only alowed in some lanes so how the hell we serpost to do shoping with all the trafick

BUT hopefull i will be ok as the old man will be on a new time shift 4 hrs on and 4 hrs off and as he has cumpany buss he has a pass to go in the speshacl lanes
so i will get him to take me shoping and he has his own parking bay at stratford so i can still get to the bank

all this and im still moaning lol

All this dampness makes my hair frizz up, I'm sick of trying to straighten it.
