Hello to all our friends,

Thought I'd just pop on to say hello to everyone, although it is a bit late in the day I know.

Well the weather started off nice and bright this morning, but it clouded over this afternoon and it's been the same since then with showers of rain.

We went to do the weekly shopping this morning, since Alun has now fully retired it's lovely not to have to go in the afternoon anymore. lol!!


Mo, well done on fixing your laptop.......you are a clever clogs. I wouldn't know where to start. lol!!


Shelley, like you I didn't get any Easter eggs either, which is a shame as I love the thin chocolate on them. Never mind, let's hope they will remember us next year.lol!!

OOh hi there Foggy, Sallie and Shelly it's good to see you all posting.
I had no laptop yesterday, it decided to throw a wobbler on me, and I had to defrag, and sort it out myself, and as you know, I am not very clever at doing things like that. Oooo's a clever girl then I ask you.

I agree with Sallie, it would be lovely if we all just popped in just to say hello. on this and a few other friendly threads.
It's a shame that the site seems to be going so slowly, and loads of threads dying because no one can be bothered anymore.
Cheer up my lovelies, lets be like the weather, and be bright and cheery for a change.

Hello Mo, yes Marilyn would not want us to let the thread wither away. I was going to write that before, but did not want to offend anyone. But I think we all know our Marilyn, and she would be very upset if we did not post anymore.

Cooee Jeni, thanks for the call this afternoon. My neighbour had called to tell us, that another of our neighbours had been attacked, and robbed in his own home this morning.
Someone knocked on his door, and when he opened it, a youth barged in, attacked him, and stole his money and valuables.
What a shock this was to us,Geoff is a man in his 80's, and certainly did not deserve this to happen to him.

my oven brock and i had to put in a new one

and how about this daughter and 2 son's all want out
and left me and i had to what till thay came back from the market to lift it
in the place were it had to go

BUT son did turn all the lecky back on for me

oven is working fine

Good afternoon All. Hope you are all well.

Last week my friend also died of Cancer. She was very ill for nearly a year, and wanted to go home to die. And that is exactly what she did. So very sad, she was only a year older than me.

Another friend has had a Stroke, and another is having Tests!

I can remember my Mother saying to me 'Dont ever get old, it isnt funny!'

These ladies are all in their late 50's or early 60's and I dont think that is very old at all. Not with all the advances they are making in medicine.

I am going to the Funeral tomorrow. It will be very sad, and I am not looking forward to it. I know the daughter and her children.

There but for the Grace of God...............

my girlie is fine at the moment, she was on box rest for 3 weeks as she had strained her leg again in the mud but she's ok now so had another vet bill for pain killers and anti inflammatorys. How are your horses? You got another Vanna horse didn't you? How is he going?

Hello all friendlies, hope you are all ok.

How is your lovely mare Yvonne? hope she is enjoying the warmer weather.

I look in every day but don't often post, just like to keep up with what our friends are doing but the thread has been very quiet, wonder if loosing Marilyn has
maybe upset us all more than we know. I know we are glad she is no longer in pain
but loosing a friend is always sad.
