I can use both. but writing this afternoon I can hear the bone grating in my wrist. I hope that has not put you off your dinner?

Wait till you here this.....I happened to mention to my family that my knees got really sore when I'm in the mountains and I should really watch how I treat them and try and keep the weight off them......So what did they think was a remedy?

The bought me a bloody Mountain Bike !!!!!!!!!!!

I should really appreciate their thoughts on buying it and I suppose I will use it. But my thinking is that it will just add more pressure on my knee joints.

I have been gardening but my garden is full of ANTS !!!!!! Loads of them.
Pete had to go out and get some white powder Ant Killer.

I have a white garden now ..LOL

Getting dinner ready for tomorrow its a slow-cooker casserole as that's the only dish I can cook as I have to go to the hospital in the afternoon to see my Dad.
My sister & her HO are coming to my house for dinner.

Helloooooo everyone, isn't it great to have our Maddie back.
It took ages to find her, she was well hidden behind the bike shed, having a quiet drinky poo, and holding hands with a handsome fella, she tells me it was her OH, but I think she's fibbing, he looked like a film star to me. But then I haven't long since been to spec savers, and I got new glasses. Don't tell me they aint working for me now.
Joking aside, good to see you Maddie.

Ah Marilyn, bless your dad, water infections can be sooo painful. It sounds like he has all the gals running round after him.
It's surprising how pride can get in the way at times, regarding the Zimmer Frame I mean, or as my friend calls them Strimmer Frames.
My Mum hated it when she had to have one following her hip replacement, but it was a neccessary evil.

Well what a beautiful day we have had. I sat in the garden under my parasol, reading my book, glorious.
Lets hope we get at least a few more good days, before the blessed rain comes back with avengance.

Going to have a nice bath now, and relax in front of the box.

Went to see my Dad yesterday ....awwh bless him he had a water infection but now is out of pain ....my sister said he was screaming with pain and was wondering what was the matter with him so doctor was called, confirmed infection and rang for the ambulance.
He was sitting up in his hospital bed with a smile on his face and said its like a Hotel in here they are all looking after me keeps taking blood from me and washing me....Nurses are lovely and kind and are trying to make me walk to the toilet with a Zimmer frame ....But I told them I DONT WANT A ZIMMER FRAME !!! He's so proud
he wouldn't want us to see him with help of any kind , I told him things have got to change now he's nearly 98yrs !!
So its going to be hard work !!
Now off for my bath......then I think the garden needs attending :-(

Morning Stephen some parts of Scotland are suppose to have bad weather today according to a weather forecaste.

Like Yvonne has said Maddie has a thread out on the boards, so I dont know why she has not replied to any emails or to appeals for where she has got too.? but she appears to be alright. so stop worrying everyone.

I expect she will tell us in her own good time.

The sun is out at the moment, lets hope it stays the day.

Busy in the shop today, all the kids buying toys to play with during the holidays.

I noticed Maddie had posted earlier on another thread so all is well, sounds like she was spending time with family.

Cath could you take your Gypsy to the rescue centre and take her and new dog for a walk together to get to know each other.

it has been a beautiful day today :-D :-D :-D makes everyone feel so much happier when the sun is out. Grandchildren finished school for the holidays so fingers crossed the weather holds and they won't drive me crackers being stuck indoors ;-)
Got all the things we need for the new dogs arrival today, bed, bowls, lead and collar etc. I hope she gets on with our Gypsy and they become friends quickly.
2nd coat of paint for the house tomorrow so probably won't be on until later in the day.
Stephen have fun with the girls and don't let them wear you out ;-)

I surfed the boards looking for Maddie and dint find her. Surely she would not leave and not say goodbye to her friends.?
I can only think she is on holiday. BUT if so why delete her threads. I wondered if she had deleted on Friendly Thread ? I have not cheked that.
even when she has been to work she still drops off a little message to us..

I have managed to book my car for the hospital for my C A T scan for 30th July that is Monday week.. I have an apointment for my warfrin on test Wednesday. then after my scan I need to book a car for the Royal Surrey Hospital for my results from the scan.

I need to make a dentist appointment as well for next month. these all come together.

I think I might need a holiday after this lot lol.

we had some new neighbours move into one of the flat this morning. what excitment. the van came from The Isle of Wight.so that is two flats gone. now we have one flat and one . one bedroomed bungalow empty. so things ssem mto be moving on the selling part.

Yvonne I have that same problem no pictures but the little wheel keeps turning. dont try waiting for it to give you the go ahead. your be unlucky as it had no brake to stop it.

My fil gets up and makes a cuppa then goes back to bed every morning except if he has an hospital appiontment, he's 84

I had a really bad night last night took me 4 hours before I went to sleep I woke an hour afterwards. so I thought I would try and change my route for the day. I made a cup of tea and went back to bed and read till 8 o'clock I was looking at the clock all the time. as I am usually up about 7 or just before.
so here I am late on to say morning to everyone. I know we have to find things to say but a Good morning is nice. or Afternoon or Evening

Overcast here but so far it's not raining. Yesterday Lady Stephen was able to sit outside in her favourite spot drinking her coffee, the first time for ages.

Spending tonight at my daughters house. Her and hubby are out for the night. Looking forward to having time with my bonnie wee girls. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
