Marilyn you swollen blood anyway when you have a nose bleed.. I was told to lay on my side with a hanky to my nose and breath through my mouth and it works. I have no idea how but it does. I get alot of nose bleeds because of my warfarin sometimes it gets firightening.

I go for my C A T scan on Monday takes an hour or just under to get there I am there for 1. 1/2 hours and takes an hour to get back home so it is nearly a whole afternoon so I feel unwell when I get back home. I dread going.in this heat,

I am fed up with the games already they bring it into every programme now. if it is not in that programe they take you back years ago to another Olympics or show a film or drama on sport. they have even take my East enders off for days at a time. as if they could not put it onto channel 2.

Anyway just just do nothing today and get your strength back up.its still too hot to go out ,so stay and cool off in the flat. ;-)

I have new bedroom furnisher coming today......so that means a tidy bedroom is needed :-D

My dads fretting in the hospital he wants OUT , I told him NOT to sign himself out , I know he's missing his Whiskey ...LOL He is ready for collection the doctor said he can go home, but nurses have to be arranged for visits to the house as he has a colostomy to change morning & night.
NHS farm this task out to the Private sector and they are taking forever to sort out a nurse.... Private companies are holding the NHS at random
These private companies are costing the NHS millions as some poor soul need the bed my Dad is in .... he's in a chair now but the bed is only for night time .Monday he was discharged !!!!!!
:-S

Waiting for News from Hospital :-(

Morning Stephen and Maddie and Shelly. Maddie I recall walking over that bridge when it was first fiished I dont think I have ever been so scared it was swaying so much made me feel sick.

My sister and I saw a wedding party on that bridge 2 years ago they were having their photos taken .there was a big crowd in that party.

My sister and I go to the Tate Morden and the Tate Britian.. Sheila goes nearly everyother week.when they bring in new artits works.and exhibitions.

Shelly our Manager has a handphone and a large keyring like a prison one you see on TV ? . I have lost count on her many times she has forgotten to take them out with her.. I has so many arguement with her as if residents leave their keys in doors and she is not on duty but on the premiese she refuses to open the door for them. and they have to use a phone to get help.
I have a key safe on the outside wall. with a specical number so can use that. also when paramedics come to me or the Doctor they can open my door and let them in.I got it through the council age concern. it costs £30.

This weather I have to mention it. is not helping me at all. I have felt ill since we had it. not only does it affect my head and my breathing but also my ears. sets my trinitus off badly..
Last night I watched Super Star and then went to bed. about 10.30 I then had a bad nose bleed. I was too minds whether to phone the paramdics. ? but I laid down like I have been told to do with a towel under my head/. It eventually stopped but I could not sleep after that.
so I am like a wet lettuce this morning

I bet this is affecting a lot of old people and babies.

Have a good day.

Morning Night Owl Shelly, are you up yet?

Stephen, it is a little crowded here I must admit.........the Torch came to our area at 7am this morning, but sadly I was not there.

I know the tower in St Pauls, only the great and good go up there. I have been to the Whispering Gallery, and held on tightly, it is so high, and I do not like heights. :-(

We have the Tate Britain for the Old Masters, and the Tate Modern, I went to see the Damien Hirst a few weeks ago......................enough said. :-0

Another sticky morning here............have a good day all.

Keep cool.

:-) :-) :-)

Morning All !

Maddie,
Couldn't imagine anything worse than being in a City when it's so hot.

The Tate Modern ........do the have a Tate Antique ??????

Early in the 60s I was shown round St Pauls by a Curate, he took me right up to the very top and I climbed a verical ladder that took you up insdide the cross that is on the top of St. Pauls, you could look out through a small aperture, the view of London was fantastic A memorabl experience.

London seems to be very busy just now, is there something special on ?

A VERY busy day ahead.

Have a good day ya all !

Keep well , keep safe , keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Been to the South Bank today, to visit Tate Modern. My gawd it was like a fun fair.

All the attractions of carousel, big dipper, and other rides. Loads of burger vans, and ice cream pop up parlours. Loads of people giving out info for the Olympics, and general mayhem. One can usually walk quite comfortably during the week, but it was mad.

Went to see the Edvard Munch exhibition. Did not see the Scream. Either they hid it very well, or it was not there. Good job I have a corporate ticket, and do not have to pay, or else I would have been very disappointed. lol

Walked back over the Rickety Rackety bridge back to St Pauls. Goodness it was hot. All that metal heating up. Kept on drinking water, and got home exhausted.

I cant keep up with the pace no more!

:-0

It is hotter today than yesterday. I am not going out in this heat. when I had my blood done. it bled quiet a bit and the Nurse said it must be the heat Rita. ? and she put two big pieces of sticky tape on with a pad. I had only been in a few minutes and it fell off. all the sticky tape had melted.

I didnt feel like eating today. but I opened a tin of oranges and had that with some cream OHHHHHH lovely.

I bet the seasides will be crowded this weekend everyone making for the coast.

Morning Cath. Maddie Stephen and Marilyn.

My niece is in Cornwall she is having good weather she said they had been going a broad then changed their minds and are pleased they did.

My Estate Manger rang my bell at 7.30 this morning. asking me to let her borrow my window key as she had locked her self out of the flat
she said I will bring it back later. its not back yet. but 7.30 in the morning to ring because she had locked herself out.
I have never know anyone to lock themselves out as much as she does.

Ooooh what is that strange yellow thing burning in the sky?

ITS THE SUN.

Well, nothing but rain for weeks, and then we burn ourselves if we are not careful. Its dangerous out there!

What a terrible accident down in Dorset, that cliff giving way. The cliffs on the Isle of Wight are the same. You dont know which is safer, walking on the top, or using the path beneath. How very sad. I feel for that family, such a young girl.

Make hay while the sun shines people.

Have a good day.
