I do hope you get yourself sorted at the hospital tomorrow. it is very hard when you have to make these decisions your mind in a whirrl and you hope your get guideness as to what you should do.?. I dont know why some poeple have a lol the bad luck while some on this earth that are really wicked and very evil get away from things like this. It makes me bitter when I see what some people are like and they walk away from things. My family are in terrible troubles my Granddaughter Stacey is haveing her bowel removed on 4th she is only 37. my eldest son had a kidney removed with cancer then it went to his lung as mine has and they cannot do anything for him. he is having tests to see if it has gone to his bones he is 58 in September he is a paramedic a really kind person .

I am feeling alittle better today Jean I have not been out for five weeks shopping. the only outing I had was yesterday to the hospital.

Stephen, so glad to hear your Granddaughter is back home, I do hope she will soon be feeling much better. I had a weekend on the roads, really enjoyed the peace as I have to do some serious thinking about my future treatment for my cancer. I see the consultant tomorrow morning to make some decisions, I have been given 3 choices, surgery, which would give me a 75% risk of ending up in a wheelchair. have another course of chemo or take my chances and leave it alone.

Rita, I do hope you are feeling a little better today, rest is the most important thing for you at the moment, keep positive love, and live each day to the full.

I do hope you all have a good day, and enjoy whatever you are doing.

Just goes to show some folk are really sick.

I'm looking after grand kids....so I'm very a busy bee.. :-0

Rita... what a real dilemma your in....just take one day at a time that's all you can do , and before long you will have been well into your treatment before you know it !.

Morning

I was so tired yesterday I will be attending the hospital every 6 weeks. I was given a large packge a big diary to note my health as I go along. I have to have blood tests taken. I also have to have blood pressure taken every week. at the doctors. and if I feel ill need to take my temperture if it is over 37 I need emergency at the hospital. I have been started on the lowest dosage first and gradully go up to 50. .It involes so much my daughter had to write it all out for me.
there are side effacts. lets hope I am lucky and dont get all these. ?
They have offered me hospital transport. but my daughter said she will take time off and take me(even though it is an hours run.) if she cannot then I will have hospital transport.
So I am going to see what happens these tablets are expensive so I was told. the one thing is I dont need to wait for them at the hospital dispencery they will do a home deleivery.
I have an alternative to let nature take it own course.

So I will see how things go from here on.

One day, a grandpa and his grandson go golfing.

The young one is really good and the old one is just giving him tips.

They are on hole 8 and there is a tree in the way and the grandpa says, "When I was your age, I would hit the ball right over that tree."

So, the grandson hits the ball and it bumps against the tree and lands not to far from where it started.

"Of course," added the grandpa, "when I was your age, that tree was only 3 feet tall."

As I said we have now given up trying to have a good break......something happens and we have to come home :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Our lovely wee grand-daughter is now back home after after her emergency admission to hospital. They couldn't find anything wrong that was causing her such pain and distress, but they did give her a complete examination and kept her for obsevation.

Yvonne, I loved Canada, my wife and I had a great trip and camped in many lovely spots. The people were so friendly and helpful. I'd love to go back and see some more remote areas. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

you get all sorts of people RR people on here I thought it had stopped but it appears to be continuing. I didnt see your wee chuckle that was RR.

Cooler today. had my shower getting things reasy to go to the hospital. although I dont leave till 12 oclock. slipped this morning getting something out of the cuppoard and caught my wrist so I have a bleeding wrist now trouble is when you on warfarin it takes along while to stop.

And lo and behold they found a joke....a real bawdy one......about a Sailor and some Soap.

'That'll do nicely' says they......and behold they were able to magic the joke away.....

We have given up on our holiday.

Received word last night that our lovely wee Grandaughter was being rushed by ambulance to hospital..........so home we are again.........

Will let you know how things go with the wee soul.

PS. No morning chuckle today.....my last one was RRd......some poor sod must have nothing better to do with their time eh.

Rita it does seem to be all doom and gloom on the news doesn't it. In Canada they don't do a lot of international news, it's mostly local and loads of sport. While we were there some one was shot near the hotel we stayed at and there was a big accident on the freeway.
Have you sorted out your emoticons because when GR changed the format I lost mine but got them back when I tried the suggestion made by another member. At the top of the screen click on Tools, then click Compatilbility View.

still muggy here. when will it end. we seem to have no air to breath. it make everyone feel tired. yet go to bed and the heat keeps you awake. you cannot win.

I am tense this morning as tomorrow I go to the hospital for a pr-eaccement about my treatment chemo tablets. I wish I had not read the long list of what side effects you can get. I might feel a bit less tense.

I have finished my antibiotics.

While the Olympics were on we didnt get much in the way of ordinary news it was all games. now the news is coming through soldiers killed., murders etc god bless them and their families.

Yvonne welcome back, glad you had a lovely time, Canada is very beautiful so I'm told. I have relatives there but never been.

Very grey and foggy here again today, the fog was so thick on saturday it was creepy :-S it is still warm though and quite stuffy.
Going away on thursday evening just for the bank holiday and will be back on tuesday. We want to check on MIL and see how she has settled into the nursing home. Looks like her home in Ireland has been sold so we may need a trip there as well to sort things out.

Belated Happy Anniversary wish Yvonne. nice to hear your holiday went well. I understand Canada is a lovely place my sister keeps going off somewhere in Canada. she said it is such a lovely place.she never gets tired of going.

I do not like this hot weather. it is so tiring on the body when you get old. bits wont move when you want them too.

Hello everyone

I'm back from my travels. Canada was lovely, went to Quebec, very pretty. I'm exhausted with all the walking, need another holiday to get over this one lol.

Morning. looks like we are in for another very hot day. I have to say I dont like this heat. it makes me worst I dont seem to be able to anything . I do a small job and have to sit or lay down.

I had an email last night from my Granddaughter telling me My Great Granddaughters friend is missing from Uxbridge. not had the news on yet but I hope they have found her.

What a worry to parents when these children wander off or go missing.
