I spoke too soon about getting straight onto threads.
I wrote a remarked on one of the threads and while waiting for that to get through.
I made a cup of tea. a slice of toast peeled some fruit to have with the toast for my breakfast drank the tea and ate the toast and the submit still sat there waiting to go.it was only after I washed up and put the things away it went.

My Granddaughter has gone shopping today she is buying things she needs for university flat, my son said I bet that will set me back a few bob.. she is off to Souuthampton university. I said to him one down you still have a daughter and a son to go., lol

Stevey .... . I had Eaton mess for pudding yesterday consists of lashings of cream & lemon pie...yummy yum. blow the dinner time !! LOL

I may suffer later ...but ....as doctor tell me my cholesterol is 4.1.... SOOOOOO I'm ignoring the weight for now :-D

Its another glorious day today ,so I'm going in town to have a ME day .. ;-)

I have got through first try this morning. O the joy of being able to do just that..

I dont use the tree either now Cath. but I did some research. as a relation sent me a photo of my Great Grandparenst Absolam and Liza and the villiage as it was then.also Great Uncle Walters wedding photo. we thought it was just a pass around chat that he married overseas. somewhere. but proof is in the picture so I left a help message to the good people on the board and they found he had married in Constantinople in 1909 and I have her name and the date of the wedding and married at the Consular.. but what happened to them after that ? it was 1914 I think when Turkey was at war wih us? I think I found how they met his ship was there during 1904 to 1909. so that is why I have been researching.
but that is hard to get the tree up Cath very confusing.

I hope everyone has good weather we have sunshine at the moment. not sure for how long? but the sky is a lovely blue.

I have been getting error message for last 2 days :-P :-P :-P :-P
Had a nice break away and pleased that MIL has settled into nursing home so well and seems contented and relaxed. Did some shopping and spent time with friends so all in all a very good trip.
Lots of positive thoughts for Jean and Rita, thinking of you both and wishing you well.
Stephen we will miss you if you go :-( I have renewed for six months and will see when that is up. I don't use the tree on here at all now which is a shame but I have tried and tried.

LUNCH BREAK:

Skinny people get an hour for lunch as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy,

normal size people get 30 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain the average figure.

Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim Fast and take a diet pill.

Marilyn gets none.

I AM STILL ABOUT but I cannot get through I get error each time so I have come in the back door way. If I am unable to get in the normal way, then I will not go through this back door way as it is a bother.so your know why I am not on infuture.,

A Wee Chuckle for the day

A Panda bear walks into a restaurant and orders a meal.

After eating he pulls out a gun, shoots the place to the ground, and runs away.

Quickly the bartender runs after him yelling, "HEY YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!"

The Panda turns around and yells "Yes I can. Look me up in the encyclopedia!"

So, the bartender looks up "Panda" in the encyclopedia, and it reads

"Panda: increasingly rare species of bear that can be found in the eastern part of Asia.

It eats shoots and leaves.”

When I go outside in the morning now my external lights come on. A sure sign that things are on the change. I much prefer the brightness of our early dawn in the 'summer' months.

HELLO

MY sister has gone home. it is lonely without her, she was so good to me cooked our food did the shopping. came with me to the doctors so I could sort out my blood pressure appointments.
I started my chemo tablets on monday today I have had terrible tummy problems and felt so tired. I have not started on the higher strength yet.

Jean I cannot get to what treamtment you are having ?, I have tried hard to get through and get the sorry notice up, I got through on date but it will not let me go back so I am stuck on this one page? what ever it is I hope it works well for you.all these drugs have side affects some not too bad other worse than other.
Injections I gether your having. I would like to know what one.?

Helping my brother to trace a family for his hobby today he is a Guide in a National Trust House and is so interested in the family that lived there, glad I joined FMP as its got all Baptisms in Devon transcribed .. :-D

A Wee Chuckle for the day

An elderly man, 82, just returned from the doctors only to find he didn't have long to live. So he summoned the three most important people in his life to tell them of his fate:
1. His Doctor
2. His Priest
3. His Lawyer.

He said, "Well, today I found out I don't have long to live. So, I have summoned you three here, because you are the most important people in my life, and I need to ask a favor.

Today, I am going to give each of you an envelope with £50,000 inside. When I die, I would ask that all three of you throw the money into my grave."

After the man passed on, the three people happened to run into each other.

The doctor said, "I have to admit I kept £10,000 of his money. He owed me from lots of medical bills. But, I threw the other £40,000 in like he requested.

"The Priest said, "I have to admit also, I kept £25,000 for the church. It’s all going to a good cause. I did, however, throw the other £25,000 in the grave."

Well the Lawyer just couldn't believe what he was hearing! "I am surprised at you two for taking advantage of him like that.

I wrote a cheque for the full amount and threw it all in!!!"

Hello everyone, thank you for all your kind thoughts.
I hope you are all ok.
I start my treatment next week, Monday and Thursday,
injections, not looking forward to it, I dont like injections.
They cant tell me what side effects to expect as they dont know.
it is a new drug still in the trial stage.
Stephen I hope your Granddaughter is now completely better.
Rita, how are you love, feeling better I hope.
Did you all have a good weekend? the weather wasn't too good was it?

Doesn't anyone want a relaxing Bank Holiday any more? We were chock a block, people queuing to be served. Why do people want to go shopping on a Bank Holiday Monday?

I could have had another half hour in bed! lol
