Hello everyone, hope you have had a good day.

Rita, I do hope you are taking care of yourself, get plenty of rest and try to eat something, little and often. I think the Trust should put a new manager in to look after you all at the flats.

Marilyn, lovely picture, you must be one of the younger friends on here.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts and good wishes, my treatment seems to be going ok, so far the only thing that is happening is I am getting lots of bruises, the consultant said it could possibly be the drugs they are using, I am also very tired.

Shelly how did your little one get on today?

Am off to bed now, good night God bless to you all.
Jean xx :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thank you everyone. I am still weak and not eating. I got weighed at the cancer hospital today he said youve lost a stone and 2 lbs. He said my tablets are woking and killing bits of the cancer off. and I must stay off them for a week then go back on and go and see him. he thinks I might be a bit enemic so they are keeping an eye on me. My daughter spoke to the professor and he said they can kill the kidney off with a tube it takes a day to do.but they rather wait and see what happens. so I am pleased about that

I hope Jean goes on well with her new injections. sending her my love.

shelly I cannot beleive little legs is going off today bless him.

The Estate Manager came in to see me today. I listerned to what she had to say then I had a really big row wtth her, I told her she was inhuman and not the type of person to run an estate of elderly people. she said I will tell them in furture you next of Kin. I said thats a little late. I said her HO was being told and thst my Daughter was also angry and writing to them. but knowing this trust they most likely will ignore it.
They stick together like birds of a feather .

hope everyone is keeping well.

Stacey is still in intesive care but making a good progress. her children miss her.

A Wee Chuckle for the day.

A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses.

She started her class by saying, "Everyone who thinks they are stupid, stand up!"

After a few seconds, Little Johnny stood up.

The teacher said, "Do you think you're stupid, Johnny?"

"No, Miss, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!"

Morning friendlies,
haven't been on for a while as busy with all sorts of mundane tasks :-S :-S :-S
Rita I'm glad you are home and safe but that manager wants at least a severe reprimand if not firing. It seems to me that she is not up to the job. :-| I do hope your grandaughter will soon be well enough to go home and wish her a complete and speedy recovery.
Shelly did little legs enjoy himself at pre-school? I bet he's made lots of friends already :-) My little grandson started school yesterday and loved it so in a few weeks when he is going full time I will have child free time for the first time in 30 years lol. It will be strange going to work in the mornings and having all my afternoons free.
Hope all the friendlies are well,
<3 <3 <3 to all,

Cath xx

Hi all, sorry I haven't been to see you on here, have been struggling with the constant fatigue and not doing much at all but hoping my forthcoming holiday to Crete will help me feel better.

Rita I am sorry you have had such a rough time and hope you will have better news when you see the consultant today? It's great that you were all treated so kindly in hospital but appalling that you had such bad treatment from your Estate Manager and the Ambulance service, good thing your doctor came to see you and got things moving quickly. Hope she will keep a close eye on you (maybe she had told the policeman to watch you lol) and hope you start to feel better soon as well.

It's about time that Manager got her marching orders and a better one employed who will be more use to everyone, I know from things you have said before the Manager doesn't pull her weight. Let's hope Karma comes back and bites her on the rear end lol

Marilyn, don't tell me you were in Norwich again and I've missed you.

Take care everyone,
love

Oh Rita love, what a terrible experience for you, I have never heard of an ambulance service refusing to attend a patient before, that is disgusting.
As for the woman who is supposed to care for all the residents in your flats, she doesn't deserve to have that job, she should be thoroughly ashamed of herself treating elderly people like she does.
I do hope you will soon be a lot better, please love take care, I'm sure your family will make sure everything is done that can be done to sort things out.
Love to you my friend.

Thank you everyone for your kind remarks and Stephen I have made a note of all you have written down.

It appears from one of my neighbours they were all disgusted with this trust and said my son was so angery. he never loses his temper but he did this time.
I dont feel that well. but I hope I can get better sooner rather than later.
Tomorrow I see my cnacer consultant so I hope I get good news from him?

I can tell you some really funny stories that happened when I was in Hospital.but first i have to say all the staff and medical team even the cleaners were so kind and caring to people they would do anything for you. I met all types and from all countries working there and all showed how kind they can be to elders people as well as young.

We had a lady in there who would shout and lived in the past she called her husbands name and said I love you. she was in a ward further long they showed her such kindness. did not ignore her.she shouted very loudly as well.

Another Lady in my ward elderly like me could not speak well due to her breathing. problem nurse took her into the wash room and said is this yours(held up a face flannel.) Masie she said yes and they gave her a good washdown. I didnt say anything it was mine so she kept it the others in the ward all smiled.

Another night I got up to go to the loo and their was a police officer sitting at the end of my bed in a chair behind my curtains. I had to ask hm to move he did and then sat down again. I keep wondering who he was guarding ?

The morning the enrtance was lined with Ambulances bringing people to hospital and for hospital appointments
then we heard the fire bell go two fire enginers arrived and could not get near the entrance, we were told no one can enter or go out. it was a small fire and soon put out.I was sitiing waiting for my son to collect me and worried he would not beable to get in the hospital.

Just few things that happened.

So good to see you back and able to reply Rita.
You had us all worried.
The Home Care is awful and no care at all.
The ambulance service needs to be sorted too.
Thank goodness for your dr.

I hope your family can help you sort out some of these problems. They must have been really worried.

Glad your grand daughter is ok and hope she is home soon

Take care and keep in touch.

Rita......I knew something had happened to you , thank goodness your back .

Thats the worst story I have ever heard.....I knew you should NOT have been discharged from hospital in the first place ......and as for the ambulance rejecting you ....something unheard of.

Well I do hope your sons get to do a mega report on that Manager of yours , she's useless, not at all trained in looking after Older folk ....in fact I hope they sack her, many would fit that job perfectly.

So now Rita I hope your getting ALL the treatment that you well deserve......
I think you'll find your doctor will be keeping an eye on you more frequently.

Back soon......

What a bloody nightmare. Heads should roll for all these blunders/

Make sure they contact the Directors of the Sheltered Housing as well, listing your complaints and send a copy of this to your Health Officer and MP

All mail should be sent Recorded Delivery.
