Afternoon Folks,

Finished my 'chores' sooner than expected. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Having a quick bite to eat, change my clothes to something more respectable, and then heading out for a walk. It's far to windy for the bikes. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

If I win the Lottery tonight I'll treat you all to a 'slap up meal'.....big bag of fish and chips at Harry Ramsdens ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Catch you later.

PS.....That's ONE big bag of fish and chips amongst the lot of you.........ROFL

Morning friendlies, hope you are all ok.

Rita, I do hope you are starting to feel better now. Have you seen your doctor again since you came out of hospital?

It is quite a nice day here, dry and not cold, but no sun, suppose we should be pleased that it is dry, at least we can go out and get some tidying up done in the garden.

Marilyn hope you are ok love, having a fall really shakes you up doesn't it.

Wishing you all a good weekend, enjoy whatever you are doing.

Jean xx :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Morning All ...

Blimey Stevey were you bored yesterday .... :-D

Well I went to Totnes instead of Torquay on Thursday, and silly me fell over a pavement and went flat out ...!!!!!!
Well its left me very bruised ALL OVER.....I spent Thursday night in agony from top to toe.
My little finger I'm sure is broken but its so swollen that I have left it until the swell s gone down.
I checked the kerb but it was me trying to get back onto the pavement all very narrow roads there in Totnes. .

So I spent my day yesterday feeling sorry for myself......Pete's offered to get me a walking
stick !!! Cheeky blighter.. :-(

Anyway that's the first time I can honestly say I have fallen FLAT ....LOL

Today I'm more bruised than Yesterday .....so I'm taking it easy again.
Pity really as I bought a new car yesterday and I cant drive it .....grrrrrrrrrr little finger wont let me. :-S

Love to you all.... <3

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Once upon a time Dracula decided to have a competition to see which is the finest bat to stand by his side.

So all the bats were honoured to take part. The rules were simple. Whichever bat drinks most blood, will be the winner?

So the first bat goes and comes back after 10 minutes. Her mouth was full of blood. Dracula says: "Congratulations, how did you do that?"

The bat said: "Do you see that tower? Behind it there is a house. I went in and sucked the blood of all the family". "Very good" said Dracula.

The second bat goes and comes back after 5 minutes all her face covered in blood. Dracula astonished says, "How did you do that?"

The bat replies " Do you see that tower? Behind it there is a school. I went in and drank the blood of all the children". "Impressive" said Dracula.

Now the third bat goes and comes back after three minutes literally covered in blood from top to toe. Dracula is stunned. "How on earth did you do that????" he asked.

And the bat replies. "Do you see that tower?" Dracula replies with a '' yes ''

And the bat says "Well, I didn't".

A Wee Departing Chuckle

A cannibal son and his father are out looking for food.

They are watching people walk down the street.

The son suggested a particularly plump woman and the father rejected saying that she's too fatty.

Later on the son asked about a very skinny woman. Again the father refused saying that she’s to skinny.

After a while the son pointed out a very attractive woman.” sure son" the father replied, drooling.

“We’ll take her home and eat you mother!"

Linda,

Lurcher dog.

Where I used to climb in the Cairngorms there is a cliff called 'Lurchers Crag'.

Named this because a Lurcher dog when chasing deer followed the deer over the cliff and was killed. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Hi Stephen
Busy times sorry not online as much as other times.
Daughter came today with grandson and lurcher dog !! Couple of walks out Weather held but not too bright, drizzly when she came so stayed local. Baby is still waking through the night............ and staying awake. But likely he is teething, so time should get through that.
Second grandson still keeping us waiting !!LOL.
Been knitting tonight after sending daughter home with several items of clothing including a girly cardigan on it's way to her friend in America, new born little one and we have no girls yet.
Tomorrow will be a housework day and shopping for food.
Sunday we are off to Newbury for the Berkshire Agricultural Show. Then my 2 brothers will be back here for a BBQ, hence the shopping.
Monday with friends for lunch.
Tuesday at the Dr for blood test results
Wednesday at daughters so she can go to the dentists.
Only 2 weeks til my cousin comes from Canada for the whole month too.

So guess I'm gonna be busy.

Have a good weekend everyone
