Hi Stephen. No I have been told from Ted in the flat above they will deleiver my prescriptions for me and I can phone for the ones I need renewing.

I have found Goldsworth care will shop for me. usually I have a friend who shops but she was unvavailable these last two days. I had a visit from AGE concern in the week. through the hospital who told me to phone them if I needed help. but I didnt think it was worth it for a walk to the shop but I learned my lesson now I will not be doing that in a hurry. I think I am anemic as I am white as a sheet and no blood around my eyes.. The proffessor told me if I get like that I will need a transfusion.

I am going to have some horlicks now and take a couple of Paractomal before I go to bed

I dont know about going AWOL but I didnt want to inflict my misery on anyone.

I lost a dear friend a couple of months back, now there is someone else.

Just burying myself in work to be honest.

Posting on me own daft thread to give meself a bit of light.

You lucky lady ! Thank goodness you made it home.

Are there no 'Befriending' Schemes in Woking ? If you phone the local Office of AGE UK. I'm sure they will be able to give you advice. Not only on the 'Befriending' but on a whole lot of things....like shopping etc.

You really need daily care coming to you to make sure that you are ok and that you have enough food in the house. Do you have any provision in place just now ?

To-day needing milk, and bread the loaf I had had gone green and mouldy I needed a few other tiems and collect my perscription.

so I hesitated at going myself. in the end thought I would take a chance I got there did the little shopping got to the till anf felt ill nearly fainted the girl on the till said are you alright your terrible white. I said no she called to some who sat me down. offered me a glass of water and did I need first Aider .?
I said no thank you. they packed the trolley I paid the bill and managed to make it home stopping to sit down twice, got in the gate and though how ill I felt then a friend talking came and helped me in and sat with me for a while. till I felt better. she said the nurse came to take some blood she will be bad later. I didnt know she was coming and she never came back

My friend said I would have got it for you tomorrow she is calling in to see if there is anything I need.
I will never take that chance again.

Awhh Thank you very much for all the LOVE HEARTS !!! I counted them 142 !!!!!! :-D

Now I can breath after Stevey's Slurp......it was too long Stevey,.....just reminded me of when I was 18yrs .....so today I'm 18 going on 68 !!!!

I've been very spoilt so far ......got two Bouquets from my Eldest & Grand Children....now I'm hunting around for Vases !!

My youngest Son ......Well I don't know if he can remembers how old I am, sent me a pair of Hunter Wellies ....LOL purple ones !!!!!!!!!!!!

Pete's presents are Holidays.......I go along with that :-(

Morning everyone
Well our new baby grandson was born last night at 11:30pm weighing 7lb 9oz. He is named Joshua George. Our son sounded elated when he called, but I think this morning reality will hit and I'm guessing they will both be exhausted as it was a very long labour.
