A Wee Chuckle for the day
A woman was sitting at a bar enjoying an after-work cocktail with her girlfriends when an exceptionally handsome, extremely sexy Scotsman named Stephen entered.
He was so striking that the woman could not take her eyes away from him.
Stephen noticed her overly attentive stare & walked directly toward her.
Before she could offer her apologies for being so rude for staring, Stephen said to her,
'I'll do anything, absolutely anything, that you want me to do, no matter how kinky, for £50........, on one condition.'
Flabbergasted, the woman asked what the condition was.
Stephen replied, 'You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words.' The woman considered his proposition for a moment, withdrew from her purse and slowly counted out five £10 notes, which she pressed into Stephens hand along with her address
. She looked deeply into Stephens eyes & slowly, meaningfully said,
"Clean my house."

Oh Rita, what a relief to hear from you,
So sorry that the chemo tablets have made you so ill, does your GP know about it? He/she could contact your consultant and tell him, they should be able to find something else that will not make you poorly. I haven't had chemo this week as the results of my last blood test showed problems, am starting another chemo course next week, again Tue/Thurs, the consultant seemed sure it was the drug they were using that has caused the problem, something to do with white cells and red cells.
I do hope when you see the Professor on Tuesday he can suggest another drug for you.
Take care love, and keep in touch. Jean xx <3 <3 <3

Time we gave the Friendly Thread a wee boost up the ratings. We are slipping way behind on the Postings. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
Just stick a little ''N'' in the box and up we go.
It's dark and miserable here this morning.....hopefully it will clear. I have a job to do on one of the cars and want it nice and bright to do that. I do have a large garage and other sheds but they are FULL of my other stuff. So cars must stay outside.

A Wee Chuckle for the day
A man went to the doctor complaining of insomnia.
The doctor gave him an exam and found nothing physically wrong with him.
“Listen,” the doctor said, “if you ever expect to cure your insomnia, you need to stop taking your troubles to bed with you''.
“It’s true,” said the patient, “but my wife refuses to sleep alone.”

Morning Folks !
Jean, Early bird....worms etc......Like you the weather here is awful. Torrential rain and a fairly strong wind although when I look to the east there seems to be a clear sky approaching......hope so. The ground is saturated and the river is very high.
Hope none of the Friendly Folk are being flooded out.
Family names. We always thought there was Royalty in the family.....and there is.....well sort of Royalty.......my wifes Great Uncle has the name DUKE Patterson. Wonder what reaction he got when asked his name ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Heading for Dunblane this morning. I have to pass the Memorial to the children murdered in their school. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( My wife was involved as a Counsellor to the families and survivors of that terrible tragedy. Not a happy memory of that time. What a waste of young lives.
Have a good day ya all !
Keep well , keep safe , keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Afternoon Marilyn and Stephen, think everyone else must be hiding from the rain. We will all have webbed feet if this weather carries on.
When I went into the garden this morning my birdtable was on its side and all the bird feeders were on the floor so I brought them all in to fill, I have put them all out again now, ended up absolutely soaked but with some very happy birds and a squirrel all feeding as though they were starving.
Think it is time for a cuppa, would you like one. (_)? (_)? (_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Enjoy the rest of your day. Jean xx :-) :-) :-)
