Just back from a very heated meeting about childminding. My head hurts now !!!
Not sure where my job is going? Very little work out there. But the local council want to sponsor places for needy children. Will it come to anything? I doubt it as most schemes like this end up funding group nurseries. Oh well see how things go.

No children now until Monday, shame my husband is working each day and not home til nearly midnight.

Plenty of gardening. Dog sitting til Sunday too.

Thanks for the tea, Only just up. Going to bed too late, with hubby not getting home til midnight.
Quiet day today. Then our son's cocker spaniel is coming this afternoon til Sunday. So I will be busy walking. Lucky we have the lake nearby.

Bit murky out there this morning. Hope it brightens up.

Its lovely here again,might do nothing today, I cant go shopping I spent too much yesterday,on things I did not..... need ....!

Went in town for a hair cut & came back with two tops & two pairs of crops .Hubby said ' Where are you going to fit them in your wardrobe` ,there going straight in the suit case was my answer ...!

How dare he question me on such needy things..LOL

Anyway he's so good really he's painted all my new windows and he's aching all over from it,so I must treat him with respect LOL Bless him !

Make him his favorite dinner tonight Cottage pie.

Hi everybody, I've been helping my niece to move today. She's moved into an old farmhouse and it's minging. I've been cleaning all day and gone through a few bottles of domestos. It'll be lovely when it's all done though because it's got some beautiful features. I like the mezzanine the best, it's all lovely dark oak wood with a log-burning fire. She's put a deep red carpet in it and black leather sofa (after we got the muck out).

I put my sunflowers in SOMEWHERE so until they grow I cant find them ..LOL
They sprouted in water first....had a little squiggle on them..like a tadpole !!

Evening ladies
Just back from walking the dog, it was lovely round the lake, but I wanted to be back before the bugs started biting !!!
Managed to clear some more garden before the dog arrived and it does look a bit tidier thank goodness.
Took down the curtains in the 3 empty bedrooms, so I could wash them and get them dry before the thunder storms forecast for tomorrow. I remember as a child there were lots of thunderstorms in the summer. No thats not only remembering the good times, like we always had snow when I was growing up too. I actually hated storms, now I can cope with them.
Shelly, I have sent home sunflowers with the children and tomatoes and runner beans too. Right little gardeners I am encouraging. But the only ones growing at present in my garden are those from the bird food. Several are about 4 inches tall. So I'll keep an eye on them.

Enjoy the rest of the evening.

I'm trying to review the research I'm doing for my daughter in law. So might not be back on tonight.
