Sue hope you get your certifcates tomorrow, my sister is expecting one which is important as it is one of the ones they lost and the one we wanted most of all . but now she has said the postman in London are on strike tomorrow so she is not happy. so some of the Dads might not get their Fathers day cards if they were posted in or outside London. you would have thought they would have taken this into consideration.

you would think the RO could give you the details on line so you pay with credits and they show you the certificate if it is the right one they could let you print it. they could charge only about £4 .50 that way there would be no posting, no stamp to put on the envelope and you would be saving their thim as well if you send for the wrong certificate they still charge you £4 so they would not lose out.
you could'nt cheat as you paid the £4. 50 before you looked at the certiciate.

I went to the hospital this morning my appointment was for 12.30
we had no trouble parking at St Peters Hospital took the lift up to level 3 was shown into the waiting room went to sit down but they called my name went in had the ultra done he asked me did they find a lump I said no the mamagrame and the Cat scan were fine, anyway I was out of the hospital 15 minutes before I should have gone in, so I was well pleased about that.
now i have to wait for these results.

have a good night

love Rita

Good morning everyone
First things first..................... who needs a cuppa?
(_)?(_)?(_)?{_}?

We had a family meal/ get together last night in a restaurant at Denham Airport, west of London. There were about 40 people there, family and extended family and a few friends of my parents. They both looked well. Dad is still very thin, having lost a lot of weight whilst he was in hospital with the heart surgery. Mum is a little confused, but seemed to recognise most people. When asked how they are settling into their new retirement appartment Mum said my father was very happy and it's the best place he's ever lived in. She didn't say if she liked it ? But it was good to see them and everyone else too.

Have got the washing on already. More ironing to do, of course. Than food shopping as we have our 2 daughters and their partners coming for a BBQ tonight. Hope the weather holds. Looks good right now.

Have a good day everyone.

Oh just checked my Hot Matches and have 2 possble matches. But as one is a Davies I'm not holding my breath.!!! But not from Wales, actually London.

Catch you later

Linda :o) XxX

Morning Girls what a lovely day again not sure what I am going to do today as I woke with lots of aches and pains in my joints so if that wears off I will go out into Town as there are some bits i need to get urgently is my ink for my printer I have done so much lately printing that it has got so feint.
Have any of you received certificates from RO that are so feint they are hardly readable. I have this last batch I have to use a magyinfying glass to look at some.

Sue

Had a good laugh at your dates for the cheques had to t get my hankerchief out to stop the tears. now I need a glass of water.

I am often doing that been working on something then write a cheque and have had dates like 1899 I thought I was the only silly one. not being unkind but I am glad you do it as well.

I am going to take another look at your Harris this afternoon after my dinner. I had to go out this morning needed cartriges for the printer. my desk is stacked with paper a kind person sorted a big muddle out for me she is on records June Lewis she gets the anwers so quickly thats twice she has sorted out a problem for me with all these family names that keep changing.

Hope the postie brings your mail your waiting for dont want bills though.
