Morning all

Well yesterday flew. Friend came for tea and chat. The children were good but left a bit late. Then we had our BBQ. That was sucessful. But poor hubby fell asleep before 10:00. Don't forget he leaves for work at 5:00 !!! Friends left shortly after and I went to bed

Glad to read of the good results at the hospital Rita, hopefully next weeks appointment will be on time.

Shelly hoping for a quieter day for you today.

Marilyn glad you reminded me that I must start feeding the tomato plants or they won't set fruit.

Heard that on the news yesterday morning Sue, bit worrying eh? Still I didn't see their sick-bay did you?

I hope he gets well again soon. Fortunately although it is an awful stain it doesn't seem to be affecting too many too badly. Not the usual groups of the elderly and the very young too.

Morning Girls,

Sue I will look around and see if I can find any information about your relation Harris.

Those census give the place when the census district were altered. because you said Birmingham well my Grandmother Sarah who,lived with us was born in Bridgenorth and was then classed as Shropshire. they moved to Chrurch Streton and it was then called Salop Birmingham another one says Birmingham only. that RFC guy my great uncle was her nephew and his mother was born in Birmingham accoroding to the census. so dont be surprised if you get different places.
I will look around and see. somewhere I have a complete baptisim list of people born in Church Stretton and Diton Prior so will look through that as well see if there are any Harris on it.

I saw that last night on the news about the officer who has contacted Swine Flu. I wondered if you had seen it on TV .?

I have booked my holiday my sister said lets book and any appointments will have to fit around the holiday. so we went for it a week in Torquay at a Hotel. Howden Court it is quiet expensive but we have a room with twin beds and an ensuit. she will come to stay overnight with me and we will get the train from Woking Station to Devon we have meals at the hotel and they run a coach service for day trips. so I wont have to stagger onto a plane flashing my passport and stripping down for a check at the airport.

Linda, don't know if you've got the rain yet but we have, it's tossing it down.

Are any of you having bother with ants in your gardens? I was pulling out some ground cover at the weekend and hundreds of ants came running out of the soil - one of them bit me.

Sue, your Harris is getting as bad as Shelly's Barber, they must have been in hiding together.

Shelly, I never got round to getting a new lappy, I'm waiting for my brother to go with me 'cause I don't know which one to buy, too many to choose from. I just keep using his old ones and killing them off.

Lady must be really busy.

Morning All,

Just been and given away my blood at Doctors.....only went last week with a pain in my back.....and got involved in blood tests. !!
Suppose they will find all sorts wrong with me now!!,

Pauline , not only have I got cystoscopy but also X-ray and Ultrasound ,examinations, more blood tests......think I'm falling to bits !! LOL

They said it will take 6hrs...

I'll need that holiday........!

Children have all gone home now.................. Free until Monday.

Or maybe not as I have my husband home for 4 days from Friday to Monday.

Busy tomorrow with a coffee morning, then our family meal in the evening, with my Dad.
