Oh Sue
Sorry to hear you're suffering basically sunstroke. Plenty of fluids and maybe some paracetamol to bring down your temperature.

Hope you feel better soon.

Take care

Linda :o) Xxx

Hi Sue i am pleased you have got your GrandDads war records feel great when you read them doesnt it. ? my Dads brother Wallace was in the army and he spent his time in India near the Kyba pass when the war was over he stayed for a year running a railway then he came back and got a job on the railway in England he had been a serviceman all his life.

I got my Great Uncles papers this morning three the bit that made me laugh was he got stopped three days pay becuae he let a prisioner exscape while in his care. in England so I think it must have been another serviceman in his company. as this was in 1914-18 war.
It appears he joined the army first and then enlisted into the RFC then it changed over to the RAF in 1918 and he was still in the service then he was then an RAF Reserveist on 5.3.1919 and rejoined the service on 30.4.1920 in Chingford Station whereever that is. They have listed his three medals as well. so you get a lot of information.

I am really chuffed at all this.

Sue when I started my researching five years ago I kept saying to everyone I have no skeletons in my cupboard and no naughty boys.

I was wrong great Grandfather in Devon fine £5 for selling cider and ale without a licence. then I came across Grandfather spent time in detention if you can call it that in the Navy. I found some spent time in a Boys home for naughty boys. one Gt GT Uncle f rom Scoltand in the navy did a runner so never been able to find that one.

and so many of the relations had illigimate children . I might just say not close ancesters they seem to have been servants . so I cannot say no skeltons in the cupboatd now. but lets face it ? who is perfect ?

well Marilyn. Pauline. Shelley and Sue I am back what a bl...y wait we had my appointment was for 2.40 I was still sitting there at 4.15 so my son tapped on the door and asked how much longer were we having to wait as I should have been seen to at 2.40 and people were coming in and getting seen to right away. it was the Nurse she had told him I had not turned up and they had filed my papers I had been sitting there all that time. anyway he said he was sorry about the mix up. the good news was m,y mammagrame was fine my scan was the same as it was 7 months ago my cancer has not grown. I am to keep doing my injections and see him in a months time when he will then have my breast ultra results but he said he is not worried about that it is just he wants to make sure. we then had a 40 minute wait for the perscription 5 cartridges of my insulin and 15 needles to be given to me. they only have to take them out of their fridge. then the receptionist had gone home so my appointment will have to be sent to me for next month of cours the car park cost us £2 extra should have been £2 was £4 I got home just before 6 o,clock
my son was not a happy bunny he hates sitting there doing nothing I said you should have brought your computer with you.

so thats that till Thurday when I get the ultra sound done.

hope you have all had a good . day with this lovely sun.

Oh Rita,
Glad the scan was good news.
I know its really annoying when you have to wait, even more so when you have someone with you that is just waiting around.

At least that bit is over. for you.

I have an ultra scan Friday week...not looking forward to it ,as they say I have to have endoscopy test as well !! takes 6 hrs So I'll take me books with me .
