Morning Ladies
Well we got back last night. Actually home around 9:00. Had a lovely break. The weather was possibly a little better than here. We had no rain and hot days. BUT Cyprus has become expensive with the exchange rate on the Euro.

One problem when we got back has been that the timmed light we leave on when we aren't home had blown and tripped the socket cicuit. OOps !!! And on checking this morning the freezers had all been off, who knows when it blew, could have been last Friday or Just Saturday morning. But we have to ring our insurers to see what to do if they need a list of all the food or just an estimate. We have an upright freezer and 2 fridge freezers, all pretty full, so I never have to worry with the childminded childrens meals. Oh well the dustmen come tomorrow, so instead of empty black sacks they will probably have a lot of soft food, as we cannot risk any of it .

what a lovely day we have again it seems to good to be true three days in a row it wont last it never does when Tennis is on at Wimbledon.

what did you think of Amanda Holden dress last night or didnt you watch the show ? what a stupid women she is she looked like a mermaid with a red tail could barely walk in it and then found she could not sit down properly so she had to slide in the chair. you would have thought she would have had the sence to try sitting down before she wore it.

Glad your back you have been missed,I know what you mean about being expensive in Cyprus I go (All inclusive) when we go every January so don't have to spend a penny. But there has been a lot of people complaining how its too expensive to eat out . We found some restaurants charging £12 for bottle of wine when years ago it used to be £2 in all local restaurants as most of the wines are local anyway !! £1-50 in their supermarket .....

Sorry to hear about the blown Circuit, you didn't need that on your return journey .......!

Hi everybody, it's glorious again today, so hot.

Well I'm brown where the suncream was, but the bits I missed are bright red. I should have put the cream on in front of the mirror so I could see what I was doing.

Shelly that headache trick doesn't work with me, he just tells me to leave the clearing up till later.............lol
Do you put baby oil on before you sit in the sun? It's a wonder you don't fry.

Marilyn, it's always cold up here, so when we get a hot day - everybody runs out and sits in the sun (sunshine...lol)

Morning Shimms and all who add later
It was almost as good as Cyprus here yesterday. Our daughters popped in to see us in the morning. The youngest stayed on to "abuse our garden sun" as she put it.
We went to friends for a bar-b-que yesterday afternoon. It was really nice and so good not to have to go shopping when we got back. That is the task for today. Plus to ring the insurance company and list all of the contents and photograph the food before we dispose of it. I guess.
Washing is on. Managed 2 machine loads yesterday, but have to do the ironing too.
Only one little boy coming after breakfast today. Think he will be coming shopping with us. then he can play in the garden, before having an afternoon nap.
