linda iv been to Bulgaria and i dident like it there
there was to meny flys and thay have funny sheet on there beds
with a big round hole in the middle of them
im still baffeld to how i was serpost to sleep in them
and all i got was a draff on my back side.

pauline cook dinner in the morning and warm it up when thay come in

I've been growing/buying plants, tomatoes too ... bought some in Wales whilst there. mmm, the smell ... am luvin them. Am growing Gardeners Delight and Alice Craig, keep me away from tumbling ones, I adore growing those in hanging baskets, pick them off and nibble them when ripe. :))

Am wondering where you're going on your hols Linda, wishing I was off to Crete, so adoring it there. Hey ho, perhaps later in the year, am booked for other places in the meantime. xxx

Lady, I get so many kisses from Cass, big shloppy ones, he is such a huge dog ... mind you, when he races he's fast, very very fast lol and protects me, luvin him. xxx

Oh Pauline, Blue Moon and I quite often miss each other too ... makes it special when we are around at the same time. How are you my friend, am sure your family enjoyed their dinner. xxx

Morning Shimms if you are still around and all who add later.

You are up early Shimms. I wake early and go to bed late now, can't sleep so much. Getting old I guess and having a shift working husband who starts early one week and finishes late the next, oh and weekend working too. Still been dong it for 3o + years now so kinda got used to it.

I have no idea about the sheeets either?

I am enjoying the little pictures on the threads.

The tomatoes I grew from seed were :- Ailsa Craig, Gardeners Delight(snap) and a big Beef Steak variety(Favouryt). I also started some herbs too. The geraniums I bought as tiny plants, now set in the pots and planters ready to go out at the end of the month.

We booked last minute yesterday for Cyprus. Should have been going to Wales with my parents, but after Dads operation don't think they will go as it is 300 miles away and not near the hospitals. I too enjoyed Crete when we went there. Just hoping for a little warmth and some sunshine !!!

Overcast again today here. Rained lots in the evening and night yesterday.

Dull & Wet......nothing to get excited about.

Linda I go to Cyprus every January (Paphos) have done so for 28yrs.
We love it, but like everywhere you go its got expensive.
I'm sure you will have a lovely time at least the sun shines there !!

Maybe they ran out of sheets and just used shrouds…….lol

Back again Been to Costco with my husband. He did most of the spending today, for a change. Mainly went for meat for a BBQ at our daughters tomorrow(might be a bit soggy and end up indoors). Got a few beers and then he saw the hanging baskets.................... value as they were only £12 I spend more than that to buy plants, basket, compost etc. He also picked up 8 beautiful geraniums, quite big and already showing lovely red flowers, I think they too were £12. But they will give so much pleasure in the front entrance all summer. Oh I also got the sun protection for next week. !!

Have to get sorting the cases out soon, possibly sunday when my husband is back at work.

Have a great evening everyone. It has been a real mixture here weatherwise today. More showers to water the garden.

Hope you enjoy the summer with your grandchildren Marilyn. Wouldn't it be great to meet up with others for a grand break !!
