Alko's daughter has just literally text, I heard her mobile go ...

Do you know, and I do know there are wonderful midwifery units, I had one ... that she was supposed to be put on a monitor 20 mins ago and they still have not put her on one.

She's even calling Alko 'mummy', which any mother will know is only used when our children are hurting, frightened or confused.

Have my little sis on the phone as I speak. She can't get on the internet, what a time to let her down.

Am going to be, in Alko's words, 'the voice of the barking dog' ... oh my word, I may have to use asterisks *, forgive me ... please don't whoosh my thread, tis a mother hurting for her daughter. :(

Bl**dy NHS, have been told in no uncertain terms, too scared to give my daughter another pessary due to the lack of Anaethetists. Well they certainly won't be needing an Anaethetist, cos I will knock them all out. (Wipes brow, tis my sister talking, ohhhh ...)

She has pre-eclampsia and what are the NHS talking. Stop paying your contributions.

I'm really sorry, I'm not knocking the NHS, I'm just a mum who's hurting for her daughter, terrified and feeling helpless and I'm sure that any mother, any parent, any caring person out there with an ounce of feeling would understand the emotions that I'm feeling right now.

Alko's on her way back from the hospital, has left her daughter's OH there with her. They've still no anaethetist, have her bouncing on one of those ball thingy's, poor girl. More to it, Alko's coming on to tell you when she gets home, have given her the biggest ever cuddle and more, bless her.
