Was trying to remember the name of the film (am bad with names! lol) I really enjoyed with Tom Cruise, love him or hate him. It was Collateral, with Jamie Foxx. Anyone seen it? He played a contract killer who hi jacked a taxi and forced him to drive him to all the addresses on his hit list. Great film directed by Michael Mann. |

When my daughter was younger she had music lessons once a week at school and chose the violin, our ears only blead slightly! Anyway I can still clearly remember my hubby going around the house with her violin case and appearing around the doorways making gun noises and being down on one knee and with his other leg stretched out forward, didn't have quite the same impact as Desperado...but he made me laugh!! Still think of that whenever I watch that film. |

hi ed..... wonder if your around this morning yet? if you stayed up to watch dusk till dawn!!! I found tt a really weird film, and Tarantino is so creepy in it!!, I was quite glad when his charecter was killed off....... agree with the suquels never quite matching the original , JAWS being a prime example and Die Hard, another, loved the 1st one, have watched it over and over, the others never quite matched up, but think the brilliant Alan Rickman probably added to the success of the 1st, as for Mummy/ Mummy Returns , not really my cup of tea....another of OH`s favourites .....probably due to Rachel Weizz as well!! |

Did you ever see The 13th Warrior in which Banderas plays an Arab courtier who joins forces with some Vikings to fight the Wendol - a tribe of subterranean beings who capture and devour the people in the viking's settlement? |

Antonio Banderas - what did you think of him in the Zorro films? I thought they were quite good myself; they need to make more good old swashbuckling action adventure films nowadays. |

Yes I know what you mean Edd, I'm off tomorow. Prefere 'Desperado' rather than 'From Dusk til Dawn'...purely 'cos it's got Antonio Banderas in it and I really fancy him...yes I know that is very shallow!!! |

No I didn't know that, he was good in that film...the name of which escapes me (had a long shift today!) where his wife dies after giving birth to a baby girl and he falls in love with his 'nanny'. Really nice film. Think the baby was named Sarah, could be the film title too actually. |

Yes Christopher Jones, he was an American chap and I think that he had to have his voice dubbed as he had a strong American accent, although he didn't say a lot did he. Apparantly he had been romanticly linked to Sharon Tate the lovely actress who was so brutally murdered by Charles Manson and his evil mob. She was married to Roman Polanski at the time and was heavily pregnant at the time she was murdered, awful, just awful. Anyway they say that Chris Jones was still reeling from her death whilst making the film. Such a handsome man. He still looks very easy on the eye...go on Ophelia, Google him, you know you want too!!!! lol ☺ |

yes....even at 11yrs old I quite fancied The lead male..Is that his name?...I thought the scene in the marital bed...(when she married..Mitcham..)..realistic..I watched it as an adult..it was intersting to compare my thoughts on it...Sad ending though..Horrid when they cut off all her hair.. |

Alison Steadman was once married to Mike Leigh I think. His films have some of my favourite actors in them, Timothy Spall being another good one. They seem so down to earth don't they. |
