Don't really know what happened last night - I was going to say that I thought Gregory Peck was excellent in To Kill a Mockingbird, which is also one of my al-time favourite novels too. (I think it was the only novel Harper Lee wrote). Boo Radley has to be one of the greatest fictional characters ever!

(GR obviously had a glitch of sorts - hey, maybe they need a good DBA/Webmaster to sort their site out - I'm available in a few weeks!)

Watched Total Recall for the umpteenth time last night - there's something about Rachel Ticotin that makes me watch the film every time it is on.

The Mask. Not a fan of Jim Carrey but thought he was good in this.

The Wicker Man. Edward Woodward played his part really well.

Hi John, yes I think it probably is on the list he said to me but I forgot to put it up! I know he doesn't like the remake of The Italian job as he said it's just an advert for the new mini's. now I like both, but I drive the new mini and it's a Cooper S, so I'm bias...flash old bird aren't I!

He's a Jim Carrey fan and also Steve McQueen fan, but now you come to mention it he does come across as a Michael Caine fan. Al pacino films he likes too. So expect he said The Godfather ones too.

Hello Karl, I can remember a film called Gregory's Girl but the one i'm thinking off was in the eighties I think. The film in the sixties with a similiar title was Georgie Girl I think.


My first 'crush' was on Leonard Whiting in Franco Zefferellis Romeo and Juliet, I remember going to see it with some of my friends, we we're about twelve. Don't know what made me think of that! Such lovely memories. And such tight tights!!!! ☺

Hello folks, yes I believe "Gregory's Girl "starred John Gordon Sinclair, and he has a major crush on Dee Hepburn I think it was (wasn't she in Crossroads?) and she was in the schools football team, the only girl. Now my brain has clicked in and I know now why I said about my first crush being Leonard Whiting. They say Zac Effron looks like leonard whiting, but he's not a patch on him...and Ed he had blue Eyes not brown for a change!

The film made in 1966 that you refere to John was I think, "Georgie Girl."

Don't think I've seen Georgie Girl, but yes, have seen Gregory's Girl and I agree it's very good!

Oooh Pam - crushes from films ...

I think my first crush was Carol Lynley, who played "Nonnie" (the hysterical blonde one) in the Poseidon Adventure. I remember seeing it when it came out in 1972 (yes it was that long ago) and thinking oooooooooh, she's nice (well I was only nine!).

My next proper crush was on Joanne Samuel, who played Jessie (Max's wife) in Mad Max. I also remember her as nurse Jill Gordon in the Aussie soap "The Young Doctors" - but by that time the thoughts going through my head were much deeper than oooooooooh, she's nice! I haven't seen much of her since then though.

And of course, there's always Milla ...
