What a lovely tribute.
I never had dealings with Bernice, but dnjoyed reading posts, and found that she really knew her way round the jungle of Family history.
I know she will be sadly missed.

Regards
Liz

Donna, it's going to be a hard day for you tomorrow but I hope things will go smoothly.
I am already thinking about you and remember how difficult it was at my parents' funerals, altho both times we managed to smile when there were hiccups. Mum's was in lateish May 1995 and there was a heatwave on the day, a real scorcher, so we all had to change what we had planned to wear and at Dad's, the organist for some reason decided to play the wrong tune to The Lord's My Shepherd, we expected Crimond and a different little- known tune started up, everyone struggled to sing along but it wasn't the same! We had to laugh or we would have cried !

Take care, rest in peace Bernice, life's work well done.
