What a lovely thread ..... especially as it was started by a man! :-))))

I've known my hubby (we were colleagues) since 1978, but we only got together in 1995, and married since 1997.

He is my true soul mate, and I consider myself so lucky to have him.
Love him to bits.

*realises self is becoming cheesy, so walks off thread*

It's wonderful how you can re-oped a thread after two months and all the mames pop up again.

I had my 30th last June. We meet when I was 40 and Ros 33. young bit of skirt.!!!!! She has been a most wonderful wife to me. When I had my stroke 5 years ago come March. She has been everything to me, even though I have been left with bad mood swings. She theatens to leave me,but never does, and I am sure she never will. God Bless her.

Happily Married to mine for 46 Years in March. Although fireworks don't go off like they used to I actually Love him more today than I did when I married him. He is the most caring husband and has been a great father to our Children. As a Grandfather he is the best and has a lot of time for his Grandchildren They love him dearly.
He has always been a good provider. We have always come first in his life.
Hey we have had our problems wouldn't be human if we hadn't but have never gone to bed angry with each other.
I am with him 24/7 most of the time now as he is retired and although each of us need a little space sometimes we are still Soul mates and he is my best friend in the world

OH and I both in our 70's, we just look at each other, and both say 'Love You'

I can look at him, and get an overwhelming feeling of love, and I tell him, and he says same as me.

Been married now for 41 years, and loved every moment of it.

No, age is no barrier to love. Met my OH (which he definitely is) in 1956 when I was 15, been married for 48 years now and still love him to bits. Of course he can be infuriating (who can't?), but he is caring and thoughtful and I dread the thought of being without him ever!

When people say ' my other half ' that is exactly what my OH is.
We have been together nearly 20 years and yes I am 50 something lol.
Also second time around for both of us, and I still look out the window waiting for him to come home from work.......like a love-sick puppy lol.
