Ann, I recently saw my friend through this same scenario, trial and error, but she was able to go home with better pain relief and lots of loving care from family and the Marie Curie/Macmillan nurses. She had her 59th birthday with her family round her altho sadly lost her battle a little while after. |

Another bad night for mum, no sleep and lots of pain, her medication is being reviewed ( again ) by the doctors today, I know it is all trial and error, but as every day goes by she is getting weaker bless her. |

Mum has had a very bad day today, and they have put her on a morphine drip, which is slow release, but takes some time to get into her system properly. |
