Ann i am so sorry. I hope that they make your mum as comfortable as possible. You must try and slow down or you will make yourself ill. Have some time for yourself in between visits. Thinking of you and your dear mum.

Oh bless her, seems awful that she is back to square one again, I do hope the doctors can find a way to help her feel better without causing further problems for her. No wonder you are feeling low, it must be so upsetting to see her like that again, after she brightened up so well.
Sending a gentle hug for her and a big one for you too,

I feel as if I am caving in!

I cannot concentrate on my work and am feeling very low.

I have asked why they have changed mums meds and put her on morphine patches, when the tablets appeared to working well. Apparently there can be side effects to strong morpine taken in tablet form, one being renal failure and, mum was showing signs that her renal function was deteriorating, so they changed, but since then she has really so much pain and hasnt eaten anything soince Thursday, she also has her nausea back again, Oh my poor darling mum.

Please keep the prayers flowing she seems to need them more than ever now, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Hello all you kind people
Mum is a little brighter today, and was pleased when my husband took our 16 week old puppy to see her.

Her breathing is a little easier, but she is still on oxygen most of the time, she has lost her appetite again., and they are trying her with morphine patches now.
They keep mending things that arent broken!!!!

Thank you all once again for your prayers and thoughts

Ann

Ann, hope your Mum gets the fluid problem sorted so she can come home. How nice that your hubby visits her when you can't, try not to work yourself into the ground with all that is going on.

Oh dear me, yesterday she had a major problem with her breathing, and she now has fluid on her lungs due to her heart not pumping correctly, they have changed one of her heart meds and given her water tablets to try to get rid of the excess fluid, but she gets exhausted now walking to the bathroom. She was so frail yesterday.
They said to me they want to sort this out before she comes home.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and prayers
Will she ever have peace

Ann
