Hello All, It has been awhile since I have been able to take the time to post . Tony I am so sorry to hear about Barb's Mum, a sad time for you all.
Yes Mary we did get snow that week it was so cold. this last week we actually go 4 day's of full sunshine it was wonderful,however it did not last the past 3 or 4 days have been wet and as usual very windy.
The family tree I am doing is almost done I am now down to my family, that will take some time as it is fairly large but hopefully I wont make too many mistakes and have to redo it, I find I lose concentration and then make silly mistakes.I must be off it's bed time again. Love to you all <3 Marie :-D

Barb says thanks for the thoughts and prayers..
Funeral was yesterday 20th( cremation ) at Lilydale Memorial
Has been a difficult week for Barb and her sisters, as her baby sis had turned 50 on the 19thJune, and had arranged a birthday bash down in the Gippsland area of Vic.........as this is where both her sisters live ( farmers ) The birthday arragements had been organised months ago,( not knowing her mum would pass away on the 16th June ) as over 90 peeps from all over Victoria had been invited, and Motel accomodation booked for peeps to stay O/night as the location was well into scrub land, and difficult access in and out. Couldn't call off the party to leave for a later date, and the funeral being the next day after ( 20th) in Melbourne. So mixed emotions all round, trying to celebrate a 50th and knowing the next day was funeral of their mum.....
Mary. Received your email regarding your PAGE relos, but haven't had the time as yet to search. Also, i have a back log of emails from peeps O/seas asking for help too......so when i get some me time, i will do a seach for you. xx
Very windy around Melbourne suburbs last night with winds recorded up to 130 kms in some area's...wreaking havoc. Some peeps losing their whole roofs.
Off to make some lunch, and some hot soup in this cold Melb weather seems the go ... :-)
Av a good un
Tony :-)

Arvo.
Thanks for the birthday wishes Mary x
Very sad about our Kiwi neighboughs and the problems they are faceing with these earthquakes. I had heard on the tele that they are saying that parts of Christchuch may be closed down and isolated, and never to be built on again because its to unstable. NZ are used to minor quakes on the whole, but they seem to be more frequent and larger quakes at the moment. Thoughts and prayers go out to them.
A sad time for us at the moment with family. Barbs mum ( now 84 ) had a bad fall 2 weeks ago at the nursing home where she lives now.( Alziemers patient ) She broke her hip slipping in the bathroom, so they took her to hospital where they attempted to replace her hip with a metal ball joint.......unfortunatley after the operation the wound got infected, so they removed the metal pin/joint, but the now infected wound would not heal under antibiotics, and Barb has been now told that her mum recovery was very small and if she did recover would never walk again. This was last week, and now more sad news today that her mum would not recover at all, and would possibly pass away within the week. She is now palative care in Hospital and drugged up on morphine to make her as comfortable as possible. The Doctors informed Barb there was nothing else they could do, and unfortunatley had to just let nature take its course.
So all this just 3 weeks ago from a bad fall. A sad time for Barb and her siblings over the next week. Barb has decided to sit with her mum in hospital until she passes away.
Hope all is well with everyone, and take care.
Tony

Morning [for me ]Marie.yep ,take notice of what Zack says ,it's easy to be too keen going back into a gym after an injury ,going daft and doing yourself another mischief ,lol,been there ,done that ,and got a tea shirt ;-). Well ,we had good steady rain here nearly all day yesterday ,which carried on all night,and only stopped shortly after the plurry cat had me out of bed at 5 a m. :-S. By the time i had fed the missfit her brekkie ,nearly delivered on the end of my slipper ,lol,i made a coffee ,dried my patio chair down and sat out just as the sun came up and out too . It is warming up nicely out there now ,and all the rain has done a lot of good ,making all my vggies seem to grow half an inch overnight. I have tom's on my plants in the greenhouse ,buds on my cucumbers and courgettes,and Strawberries on the plants around my two older trees ,looks like nearly cream tea time ,yum. :-). Looks like i may get a bumper crop of onions and leeks as well ,to go with my kale plants ,come on there ,he he ,lots of Calgannon this winter ,yeeeees,result :-D. You got a few spare minutes there Tony? ,i could do with a bit of concreting done here as well,not much true ,but i am getting an earful off the wife ,and her rotary Line that she brought ,i def need a proper lawn spike ,and a large square concrete bed for it sunk in the lawn ,to stop the wind loosening it up ,oh well ,i will have to get on with it i suppose ,so it' off To Wicke's,a small bag each of cement and gravel and get a square of turf out of the lawn. At least ,what's left will come in handy to lift the flag at the gateway of the drive and raise it half an inch ,seems to sink every couple of years ,but in reality it is sliding down the slope s tad ,maybe using cement as well this time will cure that problem . Hope all are enjoying their weekend ,no matter what weather you are having. Fred is NOT stopping with the B B Qs this winter lol, just buying a Chimnea which will enable me to sit near it when lit ,burn the wood scraps ,and burn some snags at the same time ,snow or no snow :-P.,Keep well and safe all Fred.

Howdy All Way to Marie, keep up the good work, but take it easy on the knee. I started a gym back in March last year, and broke my ankle a month later, along with snapped tendons and ligaments, so that put a quick stop to my exercise....pppp
~~~~~~~to anyone dropping by.... :-)
I do use world clock to drool over the places I would rather be. observed that although I'm whinging about winter, London had the very same temperature range as us today. Don't know about being up at 5. I'm going to visit my mum out in the country in July. It will be foggy and frosty, but I'm quite looking forward to that - a holiday! yaa We have the open fire Tones, but the wind has gusted a couple of puffs of smoke back down the chimney and I'm sure we are going to smell like a bbq tomorrow. Long weekend in NSW this weekend, A happy birthday to your sissy Tones Hot water bottle is waiting lol, have a great day and warm night x
well Tones, If it makes things better for you, I cant retire until I'm 67 either.
all you got to do is go Shazz, I desperately want to get away from the cold too, Cant see it happening over the winter months though. I want to go to Istanbul(told you that) via Kuala Lumpur and off to the UK to see if it does really get warm in the summer, or they are having us on.
I had a quick look at your tree Shaz, I dont think we have the common ancestor happening or with Marie.
