but 5am's too early
to join the human race

I knew a cat who sat all day
And watched at my my front door
At two o clock I would come home
And he would shake his paw
For dinner time it surely was
His food he did adore
He was a cracking little cat
Who sadly is no more

You could get a tortoise
They don't run around so much
If you had a rabbit
You'd have to buy a hutch

A tortoise doesn't eat a lot
Especially when asleep
It wouldn't need a lot of care
Not so much as a hare

So weighing up the pro's and cons
I think the choice is clear
You either buy a tortoise
Or.. what about a deer

If i got a hare
would he win the race
or should i get a tortoise
who takes a slower pace ?

A pet that needs less care

If i bought a Camel
would my family get the hump
does a camel eat a lot
would he be a big fat lump

Do you buy them from a pet shop
or maybe from a zoo
will i get a camel
or should i just buy two

Not everyone likes camels
but i think they are neat

that they have big feet

If i kept them in my garden
would they ruin my lawn
sounds a little tedious
maybe i should yawn
