Lol Heather I lived in Cornwall for a number of years and got into the dreckly way of doing things....took me 7 years to put a plug on a tablelamp

Indeed are local dialects important?

Last time I visited the place where I spent most of my childhood,
so many of the current residents have moved from elsewhere, there doesnt seem to be a local dialect like there was in days gone by,

People move around much more these days.
